Now that modern science has proven the Theory of Evolution to be in error (see Evolution) -- and, in the emerging body of modern cutting-edge science, the Universe is now understood to be the product of a Great Thought as portrayed in the statement by astronomer James Jeans: “Today there is a wide measure of agreement… that the stream of knowledge is heading towards a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine” -- which means that the Universe is the product of Intelligent Design, wherein Higher Vision and Consciousness brought all things into existence.  Intelligent Design expressed by Higher Consciousness, means that everything has a Reason and Purpose for Being -- as part of the Whole.  Which means that in the Design, there is a Causal-Factor that initiates every event that mankind experiences in this world.   Therefore, it will remain impossible for you to understand the life you are presently living, without understanding what can be portrayed as the Causal-Factors that created these events -- and even your present life.  In fact, it will remain impossible for you to understand any more advanced or higher reality than the most superficial of concepts, without understanding the Causal-Factors of Life Itself.  Who are you?  What are you doing here?  What is the objective of your life?  And what is the objective of life itself?  What constitutes a successful life?  In our present timeframe, neither science, religion or philosophy can factually answer these crucial questions.  Yet, whoever understands the Causal-Factors of life, can easily answer these simple questions that remain an enigma to the vast majority of people.  And when it is realized that it will remain impossible for you to correctly understand any of these paramount important questions of life, while still remaining ignorant of the Causal-Factors of Life itself, a wise man would seek to better understand the reality of the life that he is living.

The Disconnected World Of Scientism:  Scientism is a faux-science that is based upon man-made dogma that misguides mankind in its counterfeit and incomplete findings that do more to inhibit the acquisition of truth, than to actually find and ascertain truth (see Science Vs Scientism http://KnowThyself.Nazirene.org#ScienceVsScientism ).   Charles Darwin, as an example, rejected the Wisdom of the Mystic (see Plato - The Physicist http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#Plato ), and looked exclusively to concrete physical matter as man's source of being -- claiming that there was no "supernatural" or non-physical power, consciousness or Higher Mind that brought this world into existence.  And the fact that the fossil record failed to support Darwin's conclusions, is openly acknowledged in his own words where he wrote: "Why then is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain, and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory" (Charles Darwin, On The Origin Of Species).   Darwinism and the Theory of Evolution upon which much of Scientism has been erected, can be portrayed as synonymous with those who embrace the flat-earth theory -- remaining close to the waters-edge so they didn't fall off the face of the earth.  Thus, the grave flaw in Darwin's thinking that was the foundation of Scientism was defined by Emmanuel Kant who stated: “The human mind is restricted to the logical world and thus can only interpret and understand occurrences according to their physical appearances”.   The (male) linear spheres of mind only see and observe the physical images that men see in this world -- whole the (feminine) Intuitive spheres of mind must be developed in order to look and understand the non-physical reality that modern science has now proven to be the Unseen Source of all that we see (see The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife ).  And while the Feminine-Intuitive possesses abilities that are opposite the Male-Linear, only when the male and female spheres of mind are brought into Oneness and Wholeness, can the Inner Source of the Soul be Entered.  When the Gospel account of Jesus taught that the Kingdom is within you, this inner journey required a roadmap of the Cosmology of Inner Consciousness and an understanding of the Causal-Factors and the Natural Laws that bring the Duality of Male and Female into Wholeness.  In the Gospel of Thomas this inner journey into our True-Source is presented in the question presented to Jesus on how the Inner Kingdom is to be entered?  To which Jesus explained: "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; ...then will you enter the kingdom."  Unless you understand the Causal-Factors that unites and makes the inner duality of self Whole, the journey into the inner Kingdom will remain impossible for you to make.

Modern cutting-edge science has acknowledged the fatal error of their past, and they have begun to embrace a higher degree of Wholism -- and this wholism has proven the wisdom of the mystic to be true -- i.e., that this world is a sub-realm of a higher reality -- and that this higher unseen reality is the true source of all the images that we observe in the outer world (see The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife  ).  What is wholism?   Wholism is defined as the realization that: "...different parts are all interconnected and cannot be understood without understanding the entire whole."  In contradistinction, the reality that what has traditionally been portrayed as science, is actually Scientism which has suppressed and limited all scientific inquiries and research.  Scientism is defined as "...an ideology that promotes science as the only objective means by which society should determine normative and epistemological values" (see Wikipedia).  In the article Science versus Scientism it is stated: "Scientism is a dogmatic ideology which presumes that 'science,' in the narrower sense of the word, has the answers to all questions. For believers in scientism the claims of metaphysics are invalid and have no bearing on reality. The physical cosmos is all there is. There is nothing but three dimensions (or four if we include time as a dimension) which are perceived with our five senses. This is all there is and this is therefore all that is worth studying." Scientism excludes and ignores whatever is not three-dimensional and physical, and therefore inhibits man from achieving any degree of Wholeness which would enable him to achieve true Enlightenment and Knowing.

Modern science has begun to open the door to acknowledging man's higher Soul and Spiritual reality, and therefore is in the process of freeing mankind from the dungeons of scientism.  Thus, the question must be posed: Is only what is physically seen valid?  And from the three-dimensional perspective of Scientism, is all that exists beyond man's physical vision invalid?   Einstein declared after one discovery, "If it is correct (Quantum Mechanics) it signifies the end of science" as we know it (see Marcus du Sautoy, The Great Unknown: Seven Journeys to the Frontiers of Science).  When physicist Walter Thirring stated in his book, Urbausteine der Materie about the nature and reality of physical matter that modern physics “...has put our thinking about the essence of matter in a different context.   It has taken our gaze from the visible - the particles - to the underlying entity, the field.   The presence of matter is merely a disturbance of the perfect state of the field at that place; something accidental, one could almost say, a ‘blemish’.   Accordingly, there are no simple laws describing the forces between elementary particles… Order and symmetry must be sought in the underlying field” -- what he was confirming is that what man sees with his physical eyes, is an image that has been projected into this world of appearances from an UNSEEN CAUSAL SOURCE-FIELD.  In the same way, Einstein experienced shock when he first came into contact with the new emerging reality of atomic physics, and wrote in his autobiography: “All my attempts to adapt the theoretical foundation of physics to this [new type of] knowledge failed completely. It was as if the ground had been pulled out from under one, with no firm foundation to be seen anywhere, upon which one could have built”.  In much the same fashion, the European physicist Niels Bohr stated that “…The great extension of our experience in recent years has brought to light the insufficiency of our simple mechanical conceptions and, as a consequence, has shaken the foundation on which the customary interpretation of observation was based.”  What this means is exactly as stated by Einstein when he stated: “We may therefore regard matter as being constituted by the regions of space in which the field is extremely intense… There is no place in this new kind of physics both for the field and matter, for the field is the only reality” (quoted in M. Capek, The Philosophical Impact of Contemporary Physics).  What is being stated is that the primary focus of scientism that has been masquerading as genuine scientific enquiry -- where only what was seen with one's physical eyes is valid, has now been rendered inadequate and incomplete -- it being focused totally on observable matter -- because the emerging body of facts and evidence now demonstrates that what we perceive physically, is a projection from a (METAPHYSICAL) UNSEEN Source where True Reality exists.  Which provokes the question: What is being projected?  Thus, the statement by astronomer James Jeans: “Today there is a wide measure of agreement… that the stream of knowledge is heading towards a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine”; and the statement by astronomer Arthur Eddington: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff” -- both demonstrate the reality that there is nothing but Projected Thought.  Which means that you are a thought that is being projected in this world by your non-physical True-Self that dwells in the reality of an UNSEEN CAUSAL FIELD.

The mystic has portrayed this realm as a sub-realm -- a part of a higher unseen reality -- where incomplete shadow-images are projected from an unseen Spiritual Source -- which the modern scientist has portrayed as a "blemish" that is formed by the intersecting forces that originate in an UNSEEN CAUSAL FIELD.   And what this means is that until we develop the ability to gaze into the UNSEEN FIELD which the mystic portrays as Spirit, then we lack the necessary Wholism that renders us incapable of understanding the Causal-Factors of all of Life.  Therefore, we don't understand what causes the projection of a shadow-image from Spirit into this sub-realm.  And in our organic blindness, neither do we understand the Source of the images, or what the images are supposed to bring about.   What this means is that mankind presently dwells in what can be portrayed as a cocoon of mental darkness which the Gospels portray as the "outer darkness" of mind -- unable to perceptively understand virtually anything with respect to the Causal-Factors of the life we are presently living.  Further, in view of the fact that we have been defined as a projected "blemish" by the emerging body of modern science -- and a shadow-image by the mystics -- our true reality as mankind, is that we are a projection of an UNSEEN HIGHER SELF (see http://SoulSelf.org ).  And it is this unseen Higher Self that is embodied in the adage to Know Thyself.   Not the temporal earthly-self that we are in this sub-realm -- often portrayed as the earthly of false-self.  But rather, our True twelve-dimensional Self that cannot manifest in this three-dimensional shadow-realm.

If the true Source of Self is unseen -- and the personality we are in this world has been portrayed as a kind of "blemish" by science, and a shadow-image by mystics -- and we possess absolutely no knowledge of our True-Source --  then how can we claim to possess any real knowledge of our True-Self?  What this means is that from a scientific perspective, life is a mystery that our culture knows virtually nothing about.   In view of the fact that Science has not yet achieved the ability to gaze into the UNSEEN FIELD which is the TRUE SOURCE of the images that man sees, neither can Science convey to us the purpose and reasons for life -- or the Causal-Factors of what we experience.  Thus we dwell in a state of abject ignorance with respect to the very reasons and purpose of the life that each of us is presently living.  Why?   Neither can science that our culture is dependent upon for our answers to life, in any way enlighten us to even what we are doing in this life.   Science is in fact a great void with respect to even the reasons we are living.  All science knows is that throughout the past, they have been totally blind to the very Source of what mankind sees and comprehends with his perceptive-understanding.   Yet, the modern day secular authorities of this world believe they are empowered to dictate to everyone what is right or wrong, and how they should live.  At present, an activist group in our modern culture that has founded its thinking and ideology upon the man-made tenets of scientism, is seeking to eradicate religion from the face of the earth.   And that includes even genuine spiritual religious paths can can supply all the answers to life's questions that scientism and faux-religion are totally blind to.

The Causal Factors And The Original Gospel Teachings: In the parable of the prodigal son, it was demonstrated that Jesus knew and taught his inner core of disciples how to overcome our inner duality -- connect with our Higher Source of Self -- and be restored to the Ultimate Source of Mind and Being.   That Jesus focused on the Causal-Factors of life in his teachings to his disciples, is easily demonstrated.  The problem is that most people who call themselves Christian, reject the implications of what the Causal-Factors that Jesus taught his disciples mean in the higher reality of Life.  And while a totally different reality remains embedded in the written word of the Gospels, it remains true that , "the eye of the reader sees only what the mind of the person is prepared to comprehend"  -- and as stated in the song The Boxer: "A man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest".  In reality, mankind has bee blinded by The Mental-Shackles Of Faux-Science And Fallacious-Religion http://KnowThyself.Nazirene.org#MentalShackles

To his disciples who were portrayed as being In The House with the Lord, Jesus said: “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).   In the Gospels we encounter two classes of people who exist at greatly differing levels of consciousness and understanding -- i.e., those who are portrayed as being "without", and the few who are said to be "In The House".   With respect to the reality of those who are portrayed in the Gospels as being "without", in contradistinction to those who are said to be In The House, the quotation of the early Church Father Origen represents an excellent portrayal of the reality of mind and being that is presented in these words of Jesus -- wherein, Origen writes in reply to the allegations of Celsus that the Church is a secret system (see The Secret Doctrine): “I have not yet spoken of the observances of all that is written in the gospel, each one of which contains much doctrine difficult to be understood, not merely by the multitude, but even by certain of the more intelligent, including a very profound explanation of the parables, which Jesus delivered to 'those without' while reserving the exhibition of their full meaning for those who have passed beyond the stage of exoteric teachings, and who came to him privately in the house. And when he comes to understand it, he will admire the reason why some are said to be without, and others in the house”

Why would Celsus the second century philosopher portray Christianity as a "secret system" that teaches the elite few, a body of esoteric truths that is never revealed to the multitude of faith-based believers?  Why could the Higher Spiritual Knowledge only be given to a select few?   While everyone else had to be taught in the enigma of allegorical parables?  In his famed work De Principiis, Origin explains who can be a recipient of the Knowledge of the Mysteries of the Kingdom: “Whoever has clean hands, and therefore lifts up holy hands to God… let him come to us… Whoever is pure, not only from all defilement, but from what are regarded as lesser transgressions, let him be boldly initiated into the mysteries of Jesus, which properly are made known only to the holy and the pure… To those who have been purified in heart, he whose soul has for a long time, been conscious of no evil, especially since he yielded himself to the healing of the Word, let such a one hear the doctrines which were spoken in private by Jesus to his genuine disciples”.   This is confirmed in the quotation of the Apostle Peter as recorded by his disciple Clement when Peter stated: “We remember that our Lord and teacher, as commanding, said to us, guard the mysteries for me, and the sons of my house. Wherefore also he explained to his disciples, privately, the mysteries of the kingdoms of the heavens” (Clementine Homilies).  Why was the disciples commanded to  "...guard the mysteries for me, and the sons of my house"?   Why couldn't Jesus convey to those who are portrayed as being "without" the House, the mystery of the Kingdom of God?  The term "without", indicates those who are of an organic mind or human consciousness, and exist in what Jesus portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being.   The term, In The House -- i.e., "...guard the mysteries for me, and the sons of my house" -- indicates those who have themselves travailed in TheWay, and have entered the Kingdom within (see Gate Of Eden).    In throwing away the Key of Knowledge in the manner of the Pharisees, the modern Christian no longer even has the means to enter In The House -- and like the carnal Jews that Jesus condemned as counterfeit shepherds, they look outwardly for the Kingdom that can only come within themselves.   Moreover, they reject the words of Jesus with respect to there being only One Teacher (see http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher ), and they seek out other men who know not either the Truth, or God, to teach them.

Why were only a select group of followers who were portrayed as being "in the house", able to understand what others could not?   The answer is, because those whose understanding of life was limited and superficial, could not -- and did not -- understand the Causal-Factors of Life.   Therefore, their comprehension of the purpose and realties of life remained infantile and spiritually flat-lined.   To the degree that Paul portrayed the limited consciousness of organic man as being of an "animal-soul" level of mind that was incapable of comprehending his own higher Soul-Reality (see Animal-Soul http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#animal ).   Thus, all of life will remain an enigmatic mystery, to those who fail to understand the Causal-Factors of life itself.

When the wise visionaries of man's past confirmed the need to discover and Know Thyself, they were making reference to each person's True-Self -- not the embryonic earthly projection of the self that we are in this world.   The wise man understands that your life is not the culmination of a series of accidents -- good or bad luck or fortune.  Every event in every person's life has a reason and a purpose that can only be perceived by those who understand the causal-factors that have initiated those events.  Why is this important?  It is virtually impossible to understand the realties of the life you are presently living, without understanding the causal-factors that frame and initiate each of the events of your life.  The full potential of man's mind is vast -- and the problem is that only those few people who consciously develop those latent attributes of mind that permit the person to perceive and understand the causal factors, possess any functional understanding of the realities of life.   In order to develop the underlying attributes and full potential of the mind, the person must make the necessary effort to develop their inward-looking resources of mind.   Spiritually enlightened men and women have embraced the adage to Know Thyself -- their True-Self - and they are the few who have taken the necessary steps to develop their latent attributes of mind that enable them to perceptively-understand the causal-factors that initiate the events in the life that they are living.

The Laws From A Deist Perspective: Deists portray this world as being immersed in the Natural Laws -- using the phrase found in the Declaration of Independence: The Laws of Nature and Nature's God.   Why did the Constitutional Framers use this wisdom drawn from Deism?  Because the Deists laid the foundation that permitted the Natural Laws to create what can be portrayed as American Exceptionalism.  And this Framework of the Natural Laws is responsible for not only financial success, but has also prepared the Nation to provide the catalyst to bring about a rebirth of true spirituality.

Jesus confirmed the existence of the Natural Laws that control the lives that we live when he taught his disciples that there was Causal-Factors that controlled all realities in this world -- that even brought about a sparrow's fall to the earth: "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father" (Matt 10:29).  God does not sit back and decide which sparrow will fall to the ground, and which sparrow will again take flight -- the enlightened person understands that all of Nature exists under the Natural Laws which control all events that transpire.  And God, who created and put these Natural Laws into effect to bring about a specific purpose, through the Laws exerts His Will throughout every aspect of Creation and Life as we know it.

On the foregoing verse on the sparrow falling to the earth, the Adam Clark Bible Commentary states: “The providence of God extends to the minutest things; everything is continually under the government and care of God, and nothing occurs without his will or permission”.   In relation to this verse under the heading of Providence in the Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary it is explained that: “Divine government is the continued activity of God by which He directs all things to the ends He has chosen in His eternal plan… He governs insignificant things (Matt. 10:29-31), apparent accidents (Prov. 16:33), as well as man's good (Phil. 2:13) and evil deeds (Acts 14:16). God acts in accordance with the laws and principles that He has established in the world. The laws of nature are nothing more than man's description of how we perceive God at work in the world. They neither have inherent power nor do they work by themselves. Man is not free to choose and act independently from God's will and plan; he chooses and acts in accordance with them. In His sovereignty, God controls man's choices and actions (Gen. 45:5; Deut. 8:18; Prov. 21:1). God's actions, however, do not violate the reality of human choice or negate man's responsibility as a moral being”What is being stated based upon biblical teachings, is that the Laws which Deists portray as the Laws of Nature and Nature's God, not only orchestrates every event in the life of mankind, but the events that mankind experiences have been initiated for a cause and a reason.   Because of the importance of understanding the causal-factors of life, Jesus explained to his disciples how the Natural Laws controls all events in life.

The Enlightened Deists of the past understood that the purpose of the Natural Laws was to evolve each and every Soul or Prodigal Son from the Alpha of Abject Ignorance, to the Omega of Enlightened Light (see Clockmaker Vs Jalopy Universe http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#ClockMaker ).  Without understanding the every-day purpose of the Natural Laws, their Higher Purpose and Objective, and how the Laws utilize the Causal-Factors in response to our own choices and actions to bring this Ultimate Condition about throughout all of Creation, then it will remain impossible to understand any part of life beyond a very superficial understanding.   And this is true if you are a believer in the Gospels, or a believer in the wisdom of science.  All events in the life of every person has been initiated by Causal-Factors that lie beyond man's limited organic human vision.   Which provokes the question: If this is true, then why can't we see these causal factors?  We can -- and this extended vision can only be given to those who escape this shadow-realm that has been portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being, and have gained entrance into what is personified as being  "in the house" where the Higher Mysteries of Creation can be seen and understood -- i.e., Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).

When Paul warned that  “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Gal 6:7), what this means is that what each person experiences in their life, will be the result of the Causal-Factors invoked by that person's own previous actions.  The bottom line of understanding virtually any reality of life beyond the most superficial perceptive-understanding, was to comprehend the Causal-Factors and the Natural Laws that initiated all events and experiences.  That the Causal-Factors of life was an ultra-important element of understanding the Gospel Teachings, was demonstrated in the question that the disciples posed to Jesus when they asked him: "Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'" (John 9:1-2).  This question was posed to Jesus as an important part of the Gospel teachings.  What the disciples were in fact asking is: What was the Causal-Factor that caused this man to be born blind?  In like manner, to a man who was paralyzed Jesus said: "And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, 'Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven'” (Matt 9:2).  In this case the man's sin was the Causal-Factor  that caused his paralysis.  Which raises the question: What kind of sin causes blindness, paralysis, and the whole gamut of physical infirmities that strike mankind?  Further, when were these sins committed?  Asking about the Causal-Factor, the disciples posed the question: "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"  While many spiritually important teachings were edited and/or corrupted in the canonical Gospels put into use by the fourth century Church, in the Gospel of the Nazirenes this statement in answer to the question of the disciples was preserved when Jesus said: "The rewards of our actions return again to us so that the works of the Lord are made manifest."

Few Bible readers have ever questioned the statement in the Book of Revelations pertaining to going in and out -- i.e., by asking the question: in and out of what?  Thus the statement: "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more" (Rev 3:12)   If the Book of Revelation had not been edited by the Church (see http://BibleCorruption.com ), it would better reflect the original teaching which is preserved in the Gospel of the Nazirenes in the words: "...They have overcome evil, and are made pillars in the temple of my God, and they go out no more, for they rest in the eternal.  For them that persist in evil there is no rest, but they go out and in, and suffer correction for ages, till they are made perfect."   What are the Causal-Factors that causes a soul to go back out and again incarnate into the earth?  And in the case of a similar question Jesus stated:

On page 220 of Fragments Of A Faith Forgotten by GRS Mead, he quotes the Septuagint and writes: "Job ii. 9: 'And I am a wanderer, changing place after place and house after house.' The...  passage is found in the version of the Seventy, but is omitted in the English translation."   In the Gospel of the Nazirenes this passage is contained: "So through many changes must you be made perfect, as it is written in the book of Job, 'I am a wanderer, changing place after place and house after house, until I come into the city and mansion which is eternal.'"   And this is the portrayal of the journey of the soul that has been removed from the scriptures used by the common believers.   When Jesus said that you must be born again, this next stage of birth cannot be accomplished with mere words -- but is the result of the necessary process of spiritual transformation that is brought about by walking in TheWay, overcoming the Laws within one's self, and achieving the necessary Completion at this level of being.   Thus, the more complete interaction with Nicodemus is presented in the 37th Chapter: "Jesus sat in the porch of the temple, and some came to learn His doctrine, and one said to Him, Master, what do you teach concerning life? And He said to them, Blessed are they who suffer many experiences, for they will be made perfect through suffering; they will be as the angels of God in heaven and will die no more. Neither will they be born any more, for death and birth have no more dominion over them.  They who have suffered and have overcome will be made pillars of the temple of my God, and they will go out no more. I say to you, except you be born again of water and of fire, you cannot see the kingdom of God.  And a certain Rabbi, Nicodemus, came to Him by night for fear of the Jews, and said to Him, How can a man be born again when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again?  Jesus answered Except a man be born again of flesh and of spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. The wind blows where it lists, and you hear the sound of it, but can not tell from where it comes or to where it goes.  The light shines from the East even to the West; out of the darkness. The sun rises and sets into darkness again; so is it with man, from the ages to the ages.  When it cometh from the darkness, it is that he has lived before, and when it goes down again into darkness, it is that he may rest for a little, and there after again exist.  So through many changes must you be made perfect, as it is written in the book of Job, 'I am a wanderer, changing place after place and house after house, until I come into the city and mansion which is eternal.  And Nicodemus said to him, How can these things be? And Jesus answered , You are a teacher in Israel, and do not understand these things? Truly, we speak that which we know, and bear witness to that which we have seen, and you do not receive our witness.  If I tell you of earthly things, and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things? No one ascends into heaven, unless they descended out of heaven, even the son or daughter of man which is in Heaven."    That this above saying is authentic is demonstrated in the fact that it is quoted by the Church Father Hippolytus in his Refutation of All Heresies, Bk VIII, 3, where he writes: "And that these things are so, says (the Docetic), it is possible also to perceive from Job, when he uses the following words: "And I am a wanderer, changing both place after place, and house after house.'"

In the above quotation we again see the original context of the statement in the Book of Revelation that "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more" (Rev 3:12).  With respect to the meaning of this verse as explained in the above Gospel:  "...Blessed are they who suffer many experiences, for they will be made perfect through suffering; they will be as the angels of God in heaven and will die no more. Neither will they be born any more, for death and birth have no more dominion over them.  They who have suffered and have overcome will be made pillars of the temple of my God, and they will go out no more."   What are the Causal-Factors that control the process: "...Neither will they be born any more, for death and birth have no more dominion over them.  They who have suffered and have overcome will be made pillars of the temple of my God, and they will go out no more".  While the fourth century Church made it more difficult for the modern believer to understand the process of birth and rebirth, those who possess the "eyes to see" and understand the Causal-Factors that remain in the Gospels, will be in a position to understand the process of rebirth.

The Three Causes Of Organic Human Blindness: When we portray organic human blindness, that does not mean that organic man cannot see -- only that his vision is limited to the physical objects of this sub-realm.  With great wisdom and vision Einstein stated "Only those who can see the invisible can do the impossible."   Paul conveyed the exact same message to the congregation of believers that Einstein stated in the above words:  "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Cor 4:18).  One of the primary objectives of the Gospel Teachings is to see the Source of all realities that lie beyond the physical, and therefore develop the ability to see in Wholeness.  And this is why the Gospel of Thomas states: "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you".

A reality that the modern Christian does not at all understand is the fact that the Gospels portray three reasons -- i.e., important Causal-Factors -- for people being born blind from birth -- i.e., (1) the sins committed in the Soul's previous lives; (2) the sins committed by the parents; (3) and the inherent blindness as a condition of being cast into what Jesus portrayed as the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being, that cloaks the senses and consciousness which effects all of organic "natural" man when his/her development has been derailed (see Arrested Mental Development ).   Jesus portrayed the Pharisees as "blind guides", because their thinking, mindset, religious framework of thinking and their lifestyle inhibited their higher development.  Jesus said that the Pharisees could not understand his words and teachings -- i.e., "Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word"  As to why the Jews could not understand spiritual teachings and concepts, Jesus explained: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:43-44).   Allegorically, the devil personifies the thinking and culture of this world that lacks the necessary Wholeness of Mind to comprehend man's higher Soul and Spiritual Reality.  They could not understand the teachings of Jesus, because of their inherent organic blindness, they saw only the literal text of the scriptures that Paul portrayed as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14) -- unable to perceive or comprehend the inner spiritual meaning of the scriptures.   And Jesus made note of this condition of organic human blindness when he stated to the Jewish leaders: "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye" (Matt 7:3-5 RSV).

Having been previously cast into the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being (see http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org ), higher vision, understanding and elevated consciousness must be developed as the person emerges out of the darkness of this realm.  What is not at all understood is the fact in this sub-realm which we call the physical earth, that Organic Blindness is only able to see the physical in man's normal undeveloped embryonic mental condition of mind.  What is portrayed by Jesus as a condition of "outer darkness", which those who have failed to put on the "wedding garment" must be attired in, Paul portrayed as an "animal-soul" level of consciousness that was true of all of mankind who had been cast into this life (see http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#animal ).   This condition of embryonic consciousness is confirmed in the most popular pre-Nicene scripture (see Shepherd Of Hermas) where the symbol of virgins is portrayed as the elevated mental-powers of the transformed believer where it is stated: "And these virgins, who are they? They are Holy Spirits, and men cannot otherwise be found in the kingdom of God unless these have put their clothing upon them: for if you receive the name only, and do not receive from them the clothing, they are of no advantage to you. For these virgins are the powers of the Son of God. If you bear His name but possess not His power, it will be in vain that you bear His name”.   Until organic man puts on what is portrayed as the "wedding garment" in the purity of the "virgins", he will remain in the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being that limits his perceptive-vision to an undeveloped embryonic condition of mental-abilities.  And what this means is that because of his undeveloped immaturity, all of mankind are born blind to their own higher Soul and Spiritual Reality -- incapable of comprehending the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of God.  But as the mind of man matures and evolves to a condition of Wholeness-- i.e., They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17) -- the fullness of perceptive-vision and enlightened understanding will come -- unless the process of developmental-maturity of mind and consciousness is derailed by beliefs and their inherent mental obstacles, and/or a carnal lifestyle immersed in the ways and thinking of this world.

When the mind is properly intellectually nourished and permitted to mature by the Divine Manna (see The Divine Manna - The Gospels - The foundation of the New Covenant http://BrotherOfJesus.org#NewCovenant ) -- with all carnal beliefs and developmental-obstacles cast aside and overcome -- the inherent human blindness begins to pass as greater Wholeness of Mind is achieved.  What is attained through this developmental-maturity, is the personification of the true meaning of Paul's words when he wrote: "For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known" (1 Cor 13:9-12).  Organic man that Paul portrays as being of a "natural" mind (see Animal-Soul), can neither see or understand man's own higher Soul and Spiritual Reality -- as stated in the words: "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.  I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3 NKJ).  Paul's reference to "...when the perfect comes", makes reference to our own maturity and Wholeness -- i.e., "Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought" (1 Cor 2:6).   And this condition of Wholeness and Perfection was set forth in the words of Jesus: "You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt 5:48).

When Paul wrote that "...Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror", reference was being made to "natural" man's inability to see and understand in Wholeness -- Wholeness portrays those who can perceptively-understand and connect the Source, the Causal-Factor, and the effect that transpires in this sub-realm.   Yet, when Paul wrote: "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Cor 4:18) -- what is being acknowledged is that while organic man is born blind to man's higher reality, we do possess the innate ability to begin to perceive the UNSEEN.  Which is why the Gospel of Thomas states: "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you...".   So long as we only look to what Paul portrays as the "...dim reflection as in a mirror", we will remain blind to our own Higher Reality.   Thus, we must recognize the nature of what we see with our physical senses, in order to even begin to develop the ability to (as Paul states to) enable us to begin to perceive the UNSEEN.  And it is this inherent condition of human blindness that affects all of mankind, that was portrayed in Paul's prayer to the Ephesians as personified in the words: "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the... glorious inheritance in the saints" (Eph 1:18).  What, therefore, is the "eyes of the heart" that the very believers who Paul personally taught, had yet to open and enable them to perceive what organic man is blind to?  And when rightly understood, it is this all-consuming blindness that plagues both Christians and all or mankind today.   Therefore, what is being stated is that those people who have developed their innate resources of mind, and have manifest to varying degrees what the scriptures portray as the "eyes to see", are the few who are able to observe the Higher Reality that organic man in his natural state of mind, is blind to.  And this blindness is noted in the prophecy of Isaiah when Jesus said: "In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving" (Matt 13:14).   While Jesus said of his disciples whose eyes, ears and perceptive-understanding had been opened and were no longer limited to the physical: "But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear" (Matt 13:15) -- and this ability to perceive and understand what the modern scientist portrays as the UNSEEN SOURCE, is not the case with organic man in his natural state of divided development.

Jesus Teaches The Causal Factors Of Life: The door to the higher knowledge and realties of life is opened with the understanding of the Causal-Factors of Life.  Perhaps more than any other factor, it is the beliefs that people hold and cling to that inhibit their understanding of the Causal-factors of life, that inhibit them from opening the door to higher spiritual knowledge.

Jesus taught the Causal-Factors of life that are clearly represented in the Gospels, but because of the adoption of man-made beliefs and doctrines, the vast majority of modern Christians remain blind to the reality of these essential teachings.  Moreover, Jesus very clearly taught his disciples the Causal-Factors, as a necessary precursor to comprehending the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God.  And therefore, unless you are able to grasp and understand the workings of the Natural Laws and the Causal-Factors of all the events that mankind experiences, it will remain impossible for you to understand both the spiritual meaning of the Gospels, as well as any reality of life beyond a very superficial level of comprehension -- which equates to a blindness with respect to the source of the events of this world.  And this same fact of life is seen in the biblical quotations: “Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same” (Job 4:8); “Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies” (Prov 1:31); “But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of deception” (Hosea 10:13); “God will give to each person according to what he has done” (Rom 2:6); “If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints” (Rev 13:9-10); “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man” (Gen 9:6 NIV).

What the above verses state is that each action of man invokes a Causal-Factor that orchestrates future events that each person experiences -- both good, bad, or indifferent.  Thus, Jesus warns the man who he previously healed by making him whole: "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14).  Notice that Jesus did not tell the man that if he believes in me (Jesus), that he will not be accountable for his actions.  In fact, just the opposite was true.  We must therefore ask: If our own actions can, and do cause "...a worse thing [to] come unto [us]", how is this future tribulation brought about?  The answer is that there were Laws put into effect at the very beginning of Creation which returns to each person the fruit of their own actions -- “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Gal 6:7).  And it is these Natural Laws that were put into action in the Alpha of Creation, that impacts and controls every aspect of the life we are living.

The Purpose Of The Natural Laws: What is the purpose of the Natural Laws that were put into effect at the Alpha of Creation?  If you fail to correctly understand the answer to this question, then the reality of your own life will remain a mysterious enigma.   In fact, if we make the statement that God is Good, then God's goodness is manifest in the reality of the Natural Laws that were instituted in the Alpha of Creation, and continue to mold every aspect of your life today.   From the perspective of the parable of the prodigal son, the Laws were put into effect to guarantee the return of the son to his Heavenly Father and the Edenic Kingdom.  The Natural Laws were instituted and put into effect to bring about the Perfection of each Soul -- i.e., "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt 5:48).  How was this perfection of the Soul to be brought about?   The Laws insure that each and every action MUST return to its own Source.   Which means that we are forever confronting Self -- and we learn and evolve to Wholeness and Perfection through this interaction with Self.

When it is recognized that Jesus discussed the impact of the Natural Laws in his teachings with his disciples and inner core of followers, the question must be asked: Why was it important for the disciples to understand what can be called the Causal-Factors of life?  Without an understanding of the Natural Laws of Creation, and the Causal-Factors that impact the lives of all of mankind, it will remain virtually impossible to in any manner understand the higher realities of the Soul and the meaning of life itself.   And this is true of science, religion and all of man's various philosophies pertaining to the very meaning and purpose of Life.  All advancement is accomplished one step at a time -- i.e., "Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little" (Isa 28:9-10).  In order to advance beyond organic man's carnal limitations, it is imperative that he understands the Natural Laws and the Causal-Factors that are the steps to mental and spiritual advancement.  It is therefore imperative to understand how the Causal-Factors affect each person and the life they are presently living.   When it is understood that the relationship of the Natural Law and the Causal-Factors that is the moving force in every experience of each person's life, the threshold of higher spiritual understanding begins to reveal the reason, the purpose, and the objective of every aspect of the Gospel Teachings.  And without an understanding of the relationship of the Causal-Factors and the Natural Laws, it will remain impossible for us to not only understand the core and foundation of the Gospel teachings, but also to make any progress what-so-ever in fulfilling the purpose and objectives of both the Gospel and the life that each person is presently living.  In reality, we are literally immersed in a sea of Natural Laws that were put into action by our Creator that monitors and controls every aspect of the lives we are living.  And Jesus taught his disciples that this is true not only with respect to our actions, but also with our thoughts and words -- as seen in the statement: "Do not judge, or you will be judged. For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" (Matt 7:1-2).   What this means is that the Natural Laws turn our own judgments back upon us -- thereby creating the life and experiences that each of us lives out.   And understanding of the impact of the Causal-Factors and the Natural Laws is so important for a seeker/believer to comprehend, that Jesus portrayed the fruit of our judgments and actions as a type of imprisonment.

The Gospel account of Jesus warns: "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison" (Matt 5:25).  This teaching on the prison that is rarely mentioned by the modern-day authorities of the Church is so important, that it is also found in the Gospel of Luke (see Luke 12:58-59).      What does this mean?  It means that if you fail to come to terms with those who you interact with as adversaries -- opposing with discernment and understanding, rather than ignorant judgment -- then you will continue this confrontation in a prison-type environment, until which time you are able to come to terms with your adversaries.  Which provokes the question: How many times will your own judgments come back upon you, until you learn from them?  Jesus warned that if you fail to come to terms with your adversary, that you will be cast into a type of prison  -- i.e., "Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing" (Matt 5:26) -- and you will remain in that prison until you have come to terms with your adversary, and  "...,hast paid the uttermost farthing".  Which of course confirms that biblical teachings that "A man reaps what he sows ...For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you ...He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity".  This last teaching is perhaps one of the most important, because it states that if you force your will upon another, that you will be deprived of your own freewill in the future.  An important teaching that was removed from out Gospels but has been preserved in the Gospel Of the Nazirenes reads: "And if you desire something as strongly as you desire life, and it turns you from the truth, cast it out from you, for it is better to enter life possessing truth, than losing it, to be cast into outer darkness.  And if that which costs others pain or sorrow seems desirable to you, cast it out of your heart; in that way you will attain peace. It is better to endure sorrow, than to inflict it, on those who are weaker.  Be you therefore perfect, even as your Parent who is in heaven is perfect."

Once properly understood in light of the genuine teachings of Jesus, the Sermon on the Mount basically is a means to (1) fulfill the Law and avoid imprisonment; and (2) for those imprisoned, to get out of their self-imposed jail that is maintained by the Laws "...till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing” (Mat 5:26).   Of course, because of our inherent organic human blindness in conjunction with the inherent Spiritual Amnesia ( http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia ), we cannot make any higher spiritual progress so long as we dwell in a state of self-imposed imprisonment.  With respect to the Law, even this can be taken to the next step of understanding in the words: "In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the prophets" (Matt 7:12).   But to release yourself from the Laws that imprison you, you must once again re-enter the vibration of mind and reality that caused your imprisonment.  If you are a thief, then you must see the error of your ways when you are either a thief, or the victim of a thief when you pray for the soul of a thief.  If you are a whore, a homosexual, a rapist, a murderer, or what ever in life is your cause of imprisonment -- i.e., (see below) “Thou shalt by no means come out from there, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing” (Mat 5:26).

The vast majority of people journey through life blindly.  They are as ships without a rudder -- being driven too and fro by the external winds and currents of the earth and man's various cultures.  Men of great wisdom who have sought self-knowledge have attempted to convey to the multitudes that when the Laws are understood, we in effect create the lives we live by virtue of our own actions towards our brothers and sisters.  When the disciples of Jesus ask the question: "Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'" (John 9:1-2), the disciples were continuing a conversation with Jesus about the causal-factors of blindness.  No Christian in our modern society would ask their pastor if the sins of a person in a former lifetime was the cause of the person being born blind.   The question was (1) whether the causal-factor of the man's blindness was from the sin of the man in a former life; (2) the manner and environment in which the man's parents reared him; (3) and Jesus then explained that the man's blindness was due to the human condition that all of mankind who dwell in the "outer darkness" of mind and being are subject to (see The Three Causes Of Human Blindness http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#ThreeCausesOfHumanBlindness ).  A condition of organic human blindness that can only be cured by seeking the Truth and receiving the transformational Anointing (Messiah/Christ) of the Mind.  When Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders that the “…tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you” (Matt 21:31 RSV), such a statement simply has no place within the present day understanding of Christian doctrine.  Because from the perspective of the dogma of the Church, modern Christians are without a means to explain Jesus' words.  Therefore, most Bible commentaries simply ignore the implications of this passage of scripture . One widely used commentary attempts to correct the text by changing the words to “instead of” -- which would then make the meaning dogmatically correct and read: “The tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God instead of you”.   In this verse of scripture we are presented with one of the core reasons why the original followers of Jesus believed differently than most Christians today -- inquiring whether the man was born blind because of the sins incurred in a previous life.  Therefore, the question that must be posed is: When will the chief priests and elders enter into the kingdom? Modern Christian doctrine states that because of their disbelief and rejection of Christ, they will be cut off from the face of God, and condemned to eternal judgment. And yet we cannot deny the fact that Jesus' own words convey the message that there will come a time when the chief priests and elders will also enter the Kingdom of God -- and it will be at a time after the tax collectors and harlots who believed, repented, picked up their own crosses and followed in TheWay.

In the same way that the disciples asked Jesus the question: Was the man's present blindness caused by the sin in the man's previous lives, unresolved causal-factors can imprison you until they are resolved.  Jesus conveyed this reality in the words: "Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way to court. Otherwise he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison" (Matt 5:25).  How long can our actions imprison us?  In the words of Jesus: "Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing."   Therefore, the answer is: Like the movie Groundhog Day, How many lives will be required for you to resolve the issues with your adversary that is the causal-factor inhibiting your progress in this and the subsequent lives your Soul will live?  Thus the oft ignored warning: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Gal 6:7 NIV).  Or, in the words of the pre-Nicene Church Father Origen who is known as the Prince of Christian learning in the third century: “Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life” (Origen, De Principiis).

That the Natural Laws of Creation monitor every event in our lives, is the basis of the statement: "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14).  The answer to this dilemma is revealed in the fact that each of us is moving through life in a Labyrinth Of The Natural Laws And The Outer Darkness Of Mind And Being http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheLawsThatControlOurLives -- and these Laws within which the whole of our life is immersed, responds directly to the everyday choices that we make.

How does "a worse thing come unto thee" based upon each person's actions?  And what this means is that the judgments of the Natural Laws that are initiated by each person's actions against them in their future tribulations, will have been invoked by the causal-factors of the man's previous actions -- which cannot be resolved until the man "hast paid the uttermost farthing."   How is each person imprisoned until they have repaid  "...uttermost farthing"?  And what is the fate of each person when they finely have repaid the "...uttermost farthing"?  What then?  Thus, this reality that is no longer understood by the modern Christian is why the pre-Nicene Church Father Origen writes with respect to each person's station in life "...that the cause of each one's actions is a pre-existing one; and then every one, according to his deserts, is made by God either a vessel unto honor or dishonor. Therefore every individual vessel [person] has furnished to its Creator out of itself the causes and occasions of its being formed by Him to be either a vessel unto honor or one unto dishonor" (see http://ChristianReincarnation.org ).  Which confirms that question of the disciples when they posed the question of whether it was the sin of a previous life that caused the malady of his present life -- the sin of his parents and the environment in which the person was reared -- of has the person yet to reap the benefits of living a Godly Life and is in the process of picking up their own cross and travailing in TheWay in pursuit of achieving the Anointing (Messiah/Christ) as promised.

The Causal Factors And The Corrupted Teaching On Children: When rightly understood, the teaching on the children that was corrupted and removed by the Church presents these three human realities (see Turn About And Become As a Child http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#TurnAbout  ): In the Gospels, Jesus places particular attention and importance on Children who are often referred to as the "little ones".   Believers are warned that if they fail to "turn about", and become as a child, they cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven (Mt 18:3; 19:14).   But this provokes the question: What does it mean to "turn about", and become as a child? It is easily demonstrated that the first century Christians understood an important spiritual concept and teaching that is totally foreign to the modern believer (see The Gospel Enigma That Modern Christians Can't Comprehend http://GospelOfThomas.Nazirene.org#GospelEnigma ).  And it is demonstrated that the Gospel of Thomas saying 22 was at one time the foundational centerpiece of Gospel teachings on the End Times and the Coming of the Kingdom.  The question was posed to Jesus by his disciples: "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?"  Which should provoke the question: The disciples asked Jesus how they were to enter the Kingdom -- (1) giving no thought about the Kingdom coming upon the earth as many Christians believe in their End Times dogma; (2) and, the disciples of Jesus portrayed themselves as "children"?   Jesus taught that unless you are "born again", and "turned about" as a "little one", it will remain impossible to enter the Kingdom.  But what does this mean?  Modern Christians can't understand this crucial teaching, because the explanation that Jesus provided was rejected by the Church of Rome, and removed.

What does it mean to "turn about"?  From the perspective of the parable of the prodigal son, it means that we must return to our Source in the Edenic Kingdom which we abandoned when we journeyed into this, the Far Country which is under the control and domain of the Citizen of the Far Country.  The fact that we don't remember when each of us dwelt in the Edenic Kingdom, is because we are presently dwelling in the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being -- dwelling in a state of Spiritual Amnesia ( http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia ).  At the above link (Turn About)  I demonstrate that not only was an important teachings about the necessity to "turn about" from the thinking and lifestyle of this world in order to become a child of the Kingdom removed, but that the whole of the text of the Gospels had been edited and corrupted.  "For (1) there are some children, which were so born from their mother's womb; And (2) there are some who God returned, and were made the children of men; And (3) there be children, who have made themselves children for the kingdom of heaven's sake."  Those who "...were so born from their mother's womb, portrays the natural cycles of birth by which the Light of the Soul evolves.  Those "...who God returned, and were made the children of men", are those who the disciples of Jesus asked about: "...And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'" -- a condition of reality portrayed as being in a type of Prison where the Soul is required to have "...paid [back] the uttermost farthing."  While those who were born blind as a natural pre-subsequent birth limitation imposed upon all humans who have yet to travail in TheWay in pursuit of the promised Anointing  (Messiah/Christ), are those "...who have made themselves children for the kingdom of heaven's sake."   The warning in Mt 18:6 and Mk 9:42 where it is stated that: "But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea", does not apply to those who are children from their mother's womb?  But more appropriately, this message of severity applies to those "...who have made themselves children for the kingdom of heaven's sake"?

As stated in the foregoing, each person's birth into this life is determined by that person's own past actions -- i.e., the Causal-Factors -- portrayed in the words of the pre-Nicene Church Father Origen as "...either a vessel unto honor or one unto dishonor" (see The Early Church On Predestination http://ChristianReincarnation.org#predestination ).  Where does such concepts of life come from?  The Dead Sea Scrolls have virtually proven the fact that the Gospel teachings were drawn from the Essenes -- of whom Josephus who was a contemporary of the man Jesus who lived among the Essenes stated that the Essenes “…resigned up their souls with great alacrity, as expecting to receive them again.  For their doctrine is this, that bodies are corruptible, and that the matter they are made of is not permanent; but that the souls are immortal, and continue for ever; and that they came out of the most subtle air, and are united to their bodies as to prisons, into which they are drawn by a certain natural enticement; but that when they are set free from the bonds of flesh, they then, as released from a long bondage, rejoice and mount upward...”.  Moreover, the Hastings-Scribner Dictionary Of The Bible (New York, 1903. Bk 4, p. 63) declares that, "To affirm that Jews in Christ's time did not believe in pre-existence is simply incorrect".   Turning to the historian, this ultra important element to the equation of life is made reference to by Edward Gibbon in the footnote regarding the question of the disciples at John 9:2: "The disciples of Jesus were persuaded that a man might have sinned before he was born, (John, ix. 2,) and the Pharisees held the transmigration [reincarnation] of virtuous souls, (Joseph. de Bell. Judaico, l. ii. c. 7;) and a modern Rabbi is modestly assured, that Hermes, Pythagoras, Plato, etc., derived their metaphysics from his illustrious countrymen" (Gibbon; Decline & Fall) -- metaphysics that embraced the concept of the pre-existence and transmigration of the soul.  But just as important is the fact that what is being presented is actually the threefold cause of blindness -- with each of the causes being valid in their own realities of the life that Christians are presently living.  And unless you understand the Causal-Factors of the three causes of blindness that is being presented -- in conjunction with the three phases of becoming a child -- it will remain impossible for you to understand the spiritual meaning of the Gospel, as well as your own affliction of blindness.

If the question is posed as to why the witness of the Church Father Origen and other pre-Nicene Church Authorities is in conflict with the modern-day dogma of the Church?   Because (1) Origen had access to Gospels prior to the teaching on the pre-existent Soul being suppressed and removed from the scriptures; and (2) perhaps even more important is the reality that as the person evolves in accord with the Original Gospel teachings, they begin to emerge out of the organic condition portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being, whereby organic undeveloped man is inherently afflicted with what can be portrayed as spiritual amnesia (see Spiritual Amnesia http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia ).   As the prodigal sons and daughters of the Most High God, each of us has dwelt in the Kingdom prior to our emergence in this world -- and our birth into the physical has suppressed our memory of our more distant past -- causing us to dwell under a condition of Spiritual Amnesia.  But as a sincere seeker embraces the core Gospel Teachings as restored and set forth at http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com , the person begins to acquire the necessary Soul-Memory that permits them to begin to recall the previous lives their Soul has lived.  In the case of pre-Nicene Church authorities such as Origen who was one of the most Christ-like authorities of the early Church, he began to overcome his own inherent organic blindness, which provided him the necessary access and knowledge of his own Soul's previous lives.  And this process of transformation that opens the mind of the True-Seeker, is expressed by the  Italian Dominican friar Giordano Bruno who stated that "The soul is not the body and it may be in one body or in another, and pass from body to body" -- wherein he explained the causal-factors of each person's life in the words "Every act performed brings its appropriate reward or punishment in another life. In proportion as the soul has conducted itself in a body, it determines for itself its transition into another body."

What the foregoing means is that the deeds, actions and works of your own Soul's previous lives, has initiated the causal-factors that has orchestrated  your present life -- and your own past actions towards your brothers and sisters are therefore directly responsible for the conditions and station in life that you have inherited in the present.   Do you have an ear that hears the reality that is being stated with respect to the Natural Laws -- i.e., “If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints” (Rev 13:9-10).  “God will give to each person according to what he has done” (Rom 2:6).  Which means that the actions, the thinking, and even the lifestyle of each person, directly orchestrates their future.   Not because someone is keeping tabs on each person's life.  But rather, we dwell in a sea of Laws that are invoked by the life that we lived in the past, and are presently living and orchestrating out future.

In the Gospel quotations above it is demonstrated that an important part  of Jesus' teachings was an understanding of the Causal-Factors with respect to the experiences of each person's life.  What is the Causal-Factors of each person's condition of birth?  What is the Causal-Factors that has orchestrated and brought about the conditions that confront each person, each day, in the lives that they are living.  One of the most ignored teachings on the Causal-Factors of the Laws is seen in the statement: "He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity".   Captivity can be understood as any action on your part that forces another person to live in accord with your will.  And when the reality of this teaching is understood, only then can we begin to grasp the Spiritual Essence of the Constitutional Foundation of the United States which was put into effect by Deists and Enlightened Christians.   The fact that the First Amendment provides unalienable rights for the freedoms from coercion and laws that inhibit each person exercise of those rights of freedom and liberty, is one of the elements that have manifested American Excellence (see Natural Law - The Deists And American Exceptionalism http://ThomasPaineRedux.com#AmericanExceptionalism ).  That many of the same souls who were the original disciples and followers of Jesus had entered this life in the 18th century to form the Constitutional framework of government as a foundation to the restoration of the Original Gospels teachings and the necessary Spiritual Environment to raise up the Consciousness of mankind, is explored at President Trump & The Restoration of Self-Government  http://ThomasPaineRedux.Nazirene.org/SelfGovernment.htm

With the corruption of the Gospels and the suppression of important original teachings, modern Christians are unable to comprehend many of the foundational Gospel concepts.   How different modern Christians perceive what the scriptures convey to us today is easily demonstrated by using our very own Bibles.   When Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders that the “…tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you” (Matt 21:31 RSV), such a statement simply has no place within the spectrum of present day understanding of Christian dogma.   Because we are without a means to explain Jesus' words, most Bible commentaries simply ignore the implications of this passage of scripture.   One widely used commentary attempts to correct the text of the scriptures by changing the words to “instead of” -- which would then make the meaning dogmatically correct and read: “The tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God instead of you”.   In this verse of scripture we are presented with one of the core reasons why the original followers of Jesus believed differently than most Christians today.   The question that must be posed is: When will the chief priests and elders enter into the kingdom?   Modern Christian doctrine states that because of their disbelief and rejection of Christ, they will be cut off from the face of God, and condemned to eternal judgment.   And yet we cannot deny the fact that Jesus' own words convey the message that there will come a time when the chief priests and elders will also enter the Kingdom of God -- and it will be at a time after the tax collectors and harlots who believed, repented, and followed the Christ.

In the Revelation it is warned: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth" (Rev 3:15-16).  What works are being made reference to?  Someone who is cold to the Gospel, is an unbeliever -- while someone who is hot, is on fire as a true Disciple of TheWay. But someone who is lukewarm, is very clearly a member of the Church who is complacent, and fails to bring about the works of the spirit that is required to walk in TheWay.  Thus, Jesus warned: "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:47-48). Thus, the modern Christian simply has no means to understand why and how the lukewarm believer in Christ will be beaten with the stripes of greater judgment, than the unbeliever.  So what is the fate of those who "...did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.Because of the corruption of the scriptures and the adoption of man-made dogmatic beliefs, the modern Christian has no means to explain why the unbelievers will receive less judgment than the mainstream of complacent believers who those who knew the masters will, but did not properly prepare themselves to live in accord with the Gospel teachings, will receive the greater judgment.  In fact, these statements are in total opposition to everything that modern Christians believe.   If the unbelievers receive the lesser judgment than the lukewarm believers, then what is their fate.  From a modern Christian dogmatic perspective, that would mean the the unbelievers would inherit the Kingdom, while the lukewarm believers would not -- or at least be subject to greater judgment than the unbelievers who committed many sins.

With respect to those believers who failed to put on the required Wedding Garment and come to TheCall ( http://TheCall.Nazirene.org ), in the parable of the Wedding Feast they are portrayed as the "invited guests".   There is of course the statement by Peter that confirms the statement by Paul -- i..e, "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud" (2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV).  Where the modern Church promotes the doctrine that they are saved by Grace regardless of the manner in which they live their lives, Peter not only states that this modern man-made doctrine is in grave error, but correctly states that: "It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them." Every Christian should ask themselves: How Can This Be???  How can those who have never known the teachings of Christ, be better off than those who having heard, and are complacent towards those teachings?

If the Christians in the parable of the Wedding Feast are representative of the invited guests, in the version in Matthew (22:1-14) they are utterly destroyed because of their complacency.   In the version found in the Gospel of Luke it states: "For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet” (Luke 14:24) -- which provokes the question: How can the Christians who claim to be saved by faith apart from their actions -- making claim to a guarantee and free gift of salvation the moment they accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior -- be subject to the greater judgment because of their complacency?  Further -- and quite contrary to Church dogma -- if non-Christians were those who had not been called as invited guests -- and the non-Christians were not doomed to the destruction imposed upon the invited guests (Christians) who did not come -- the question still remains as to what is the fate of those who were cast into the "outer darkness"?  What does it mean: "For many are called, but few chosen"

The Causal Factors And The Talents: The answer to the above dilemma, is in the parable of the Talents?  When what can be portrayed as our Spiritual DNA is understood, what it means is that while each of us can be portrayed as having been created equal, to even suggest that each of us is the same, would have to be seen as a bogus lie.  Because organic man is born blind (see The Cause Of Organic Human Blindness http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#OrganicHumanBlindness ) -- and in his congenital blindness, can only see the physical form of the body -- organic man is therefore unable to see how advanced each Soul is.   This is why the Jews who came into the presence of the historical man Jesus, were blind to his state of being as an extremely evolved and and highly advanced Soul.   Further, because of their inherent blindness, the Jews failed to see that the disciples of Jesus were themselves highly advanced and spiritually evolved Souls.  When Jesus said, "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out" (John 6:37), only highly advanced souls could be drawn to Jesus.  Which provokes the question: Why were only certain souls given to Jesus as his disciples?  The problem is that only highly advanced souls were able to comprehend the Higher Spiritual Teachings and Meaning of the Gospel -- i.e., “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).  When Paul stated to the Corinthians who he had himself taught what he portrayed as the "traditions" of the Gospel that, "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.  I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3), because of their lack of soul-evolution, it would have been impossible for Paul to convey to the Corinthians the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom.  Thereby forcing Paul to convey only what he portrayed as the "milk for babes in Christ", rather than "spiritual solid food" that would have been impossible for them to comprehend.  In the same way that if you attempted to give "solid food" to an infant, they would be choked and could not consume the food, the "milk" of the Gospel was necessary for the consumption of souls who were too immature to receive and be nourished by the Higher Knowledge of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom.  And this is seen in the statement of Paul to the body of confirmed and baptized believers who he stated had received all the entry-level truths and knowledge pertaining to the elementary "traditions" of Christ: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Cor 2:14).   And this is why in his Epistle to the Trallians the first century elder Ignatius who was himself a disciple of John, speaks of the Mysteries of the Gospel and the Kingdom, and writes: “Might I not write to you things more full of mystery?  But I fear to do so, lest I should inflict injury on you who are babes.  Pardon me in this respect, lest, as not being able to receive their weighty import, ye should be strangled by them”.   Which is why Paul stated that it was "unlawful" for him to reveal the higher reality that he witnessed -- i.e., truths "...which it is not lawful for a man to utter" (2 Cor 12:2-4), to those he portrayed as being of a "natural" organic mind.

When Paul writes that "...the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him", a man or woman can never understand anything beyond what their Spiritual DNA over the course of their Soul's previous lives permits them to comprehend.  And this is why in the parable of the Talents, the allotment given to each person was portrayed as, "to each according to his own ability" (Matt 25:15 NKJ).   And when it is recognized that the parables are representative of universal truths that applies to all of mankind, then it must be understood that each of us brings into life what our Soul's have accomplished in the more distant past -- which reality was expressed by the Church Father Origen in the words: “Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life” (Origen, De Principiis - see The Early Church On Predestination).

If all people are born equal and the same in the eyes of God, then why in the parable of TheCall to the Wedding Banquette, some people are categorized as "invited guests", while others are not?  And if they reply that the "invited guests" are the Christians, they then open the dogmatic Pandora's box.   If Christians are the invited guests, what is their fate?  From a purely dogmatic and doctrinal perspective, a modern Christian is only required to say their prayer accepting Jesus as their personal lord and savior to supposedly receive the Promise of the Gospel -- but is this factual and true from an Original Gospel perspective?   Dogmatically, after accepting Jesus as their personal lord and savior, the modern Christian believes they are free to go about their business and normal affairs of life with no other requirements -- being saved by faith apart from works or actions.  Yet, in the version of TheCall in the Gospel of Matthew,  "...the king ...was angry, and sent his armies ...and burned their city."  In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus states: "But one after another, they all began to make excuses. The first one said, ‘I have bought a field and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen and I am going to try them out. Please excuse’ me. Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, so I cannot come’" (Luke 14:17-24) -- and yet, because these invited guests did not abandon their obligations of this world, and come to TheCall, it is stated that: "For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet” -- which presents the fact that a believer or invited guest can't continue in their normal life in the manner they are accustomed to living, and there are requirements set forth for the invited guests to fulfill.   Quoting the prayer which has come to be accepted by modern Christians: "You must believe in salvation by grace alone, and that salvation is immediate and eternal upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time sacrifice for your sins, and not obtained through works, sacraments, traditions or merits of our own".   The teaching that this is "...a one-time sacrifice for your sins, and not obtained through works, sacraments, traditions or merits of our own" -- means that no other actions or requirements are necessary for the believer who repeats the prayer.

To understand what is being stated in the foregoing with respect to the invited and not-invited guests, one must understand from the perspective of the parable of the talents -- i.e., "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability" (Matt 25:15).   The key concept here is that each person was not only entrusted with a different amount, but that each person was entrusted with an amount "...each according to his own ability."   When rightly understood within the construct of the original Gospel teachings prior to being corrupted by the Church, each person is given their lot in life in accordance with this predetermined criteria of what each soul has accomplished in their own past.  And that each of us is born into this world in accord with our Soul's accomplishments and our Spiritual DNA, is why the fate of those who "...did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes",  because not as much could be required of them because of their Soul's lack of development.   In the same way that the Soul that was somewhat advanced received two talents, and the more advanced Soul had received five talents -- and having received five talents, not only was more expected of them, but they were the "invited guests" who were expected to come to TheCall (see http://TheCall.Nazirene.org ).   And the fact that the more advanced did not come, was the reason they were subject to the greater judgment -- i.e., "...the king ...was angry, and sent his armies ...and burned their city" and "For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet”.

Further, what Jesus taught was that what the spiritually poor complacent people possessed, would even be taken away and be given to those who had an abundance -- i.e., “Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away” (Matt 25:28-29).  Those who spend their lives immersed in the things of this world, make no spiritual gain, and they are then thrown into the "outer darkness" of Mind and Being -- i.e., "Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' For many are called, but few chosen" (Matt 22:1-14).  And this is the cause of Organic Human Blindness (see The Cause Of Organic Human Blindness http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#OrganicHumanBlindness ).  And having been cast into the "outer darkness", they lack the ability to recall the previous lives their Soul has lived, and they remain blind to the spiritual meaning of the scriptures and the higher reality of their own Soul.

The Gospels teach that there are two ways -- portrayed as the "broad-way" and the "narrow" path into Life.  To understand the Two Ways and the difference between the realities portrayed as the New and Old Covenants, one must understand the two foundational paradigms of human consciousness -- which is based upon the premise: (1) Is an infant's mind empty and in need of being filled with the wisdom and knowledge of mankind?  (2) Or, is every infant an extension of an inner un-manifest source of mind and consciousness that many portray as our True or Soul-Self -- who is itself an expression of the Logos (Mind of God a.k.a. Son of God), and s/he must learn and acquire the ability to tap into this Inner Source?   When asked, Jesus rejected the position of the Pharisees who were waiting for the Kingdom to be inaugurated upon the earth.  And in his answer that "...the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20-21), indicates that only those who seek inwardly beyond the barrier of organic human consciousness, can find the Kingdom.

The authors of the scriptures were spiritual men -- and as spiritual men, their objective was to develop those latent areas of mind that enabled them to perceive the causal-factors of life that reveals to them the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God.  The Gospel account of Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:20-21) -- existing at the inner core of man's consciousness.  The authors of the scriptures understood that in order for man to enter the Inner Kingdom, the latent areas of his mind had to be developed.  Therefore, as spiritual men in search of the inner Kingdom, they had no interest in composing historical accounts of the temporal events of this outer world which is portrayed as the Far Country and the "outer darkness" of mind and being.

Being wise, they preserved their wisdom and self-knowledge in allegorical accounts that have an historical facade, in order to preserve the inner body of truth and knowledge throughout the generations to come.  If the scriptures had not been composed using an historical facade that the mass of faith-based believers embraced, then the underlying esoteric meaning could not have been preserved, and would not have been used by the common believers who like a mule that is used as a transport vehicle, this body of esoteric self-knowledge would not be available for those few who are born haveing received five (5) talents, who possessed the vision to perceive the inner meaning of the allegorical text.  Most men and women who have sought the Essence of the Gospel, have been rejected as heretics by the Church.  Giordano Bruno was even burnt at the stake for the crime of conveying to others the spiritual meaning of the Gospels (see Intro To Original Gospel By Brother Of Jesus http://BrotherOfJesus.org#Introduction  ). Man's reality is that his visionary-perception is limited to what his mind has been prepared to see and understand.

Only those who develop their inner resources of mind that lie undeveloped and atrophied from disuse because of their carnal and worldly beliefs and lifestyle, are able to perceive and understand the causal-factors that reveal all the secrets of the lives that mankind is presently living out.  The authors of the scriptures were spiritual men -- and as spiritual men, they had no interest in composing historical accounts of the temporal events of this world.  But being wise, they preserved their wisdom and self-knowledge in allegorical accounts that have an historical facade, in order to preserve the inner body of truth and knowledge throughout the generations to come.  If the scriptures had not been composed using an historical facade that the mass of faith-based believers embraced, then the underlying esoteric meaning could not have been preserved, and would not have been used by the common believers who like a mule that is used as a transport vehicle, this body of esoteric self-knowledge would not be available for those few who possessed the vision to perceive the inner meaning of the allegorical text.  Man's reality is that his visionary-perception is limited to what his mind has been prepared to see and understand.

They were highly evolved spiritual visionaries in search of the causal-factors and the knowledge of the Natural Laws that not only enable the seeker to become Enlightened by the Indwelling Light and Consciousness of the Divine, but also to bring about the subsequent stages of birth that makes them Whole and Complete.

The Return To Eden And Dorothy's Ruby Slippers: The Wisdom of the Original Authors of the Gospels: What is the purpose of the Gospels? Because the purpose and objective of the Original Authors was so radically different and can even be portrayed as opposite and in conflict with the thinking of modern believers, the modern believers would be so shocked if they were able to perceive the underlying meaning of their own scriptures, that they would condemn the Original Authors as non-believers and even heretics.  In the same way that a mule is used as a transport vehicle, so too is the scriptures used to transport the body of esoteric self-knowledge from generation to generation for those who are able to perceptively understand the underlying message

And if the historical man Jesus were to actually reappear, the modern believers would reject him as a total fraud.  Sadly, the vast majority of Christian believers over the past 1700 years have been shocked, when the passed from this life and found themselves in a non-physical condition of afterlife, and they have found themselves confronted by the fact that they were not only duped into believing a fraud perpetuated by the dogma of the Church of Rome, but even worse is the fact that if they had embraced the core Gospel teachings, that they would have proven and confirmed the Truth of all Truths.   Which means that like Dorothy's ruby slippers, each believer -- nay, each person -- possess the innate ability to not only prove and know the Truth of all Truths -- but to return to the Edenic Heavenly Kingdom while they are still alive in the physical body-vessel.  In fact. in accord with the Original Gospel teachings, if they fail to return to the Kingdom that Jesus taught is within them, then it will be impossible to be restored to the Edenic Kingdom when they physically pass from this life.

The question of life is not why has the truth been concealed from you?  But rather, why did you fail to follow the instruction books that have been left for you to follow?  The fact of the matter is that if you were given the opportunity to talk with the original author of the core Gospels, you would learn that the text of the Gospels were not written by witnesses to the events in the first century, because the Gospels are not historical.  They do not portray events that transpired in the first century -- or, the events in the lives of a group of people.  Because when properly understood, they are timeless and universal -- transpiring in our present timeframe in our modern world.  When TheCall was made for all of mankind to come to the Wedding Feast (see http://TheCall.Nazirene.org ), this Call to the lost prodigal sons and daughters has been made in every generation that mankind has walked the face of the earth.

The Gospels were composed with a semi-historical facade, to make them relatable to the embryonic mind of the undeveloped reader -- i.e., those who could only receive one (1) talent.  When the disciples of Jesus asked him why he only spoke to the people in the enigma of parables, he replied: Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).  When Paul stated to the Corinthians who he had himself taught what he portrayed as the (quasi-historical) "traditions" of the Gospel that, "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3).  Paul was stating that it was not a matter of teaching or instruction -- but rather, of the "natural" mind of man evolving beyond man's organic limitations, that would raise them up to a level of higher mental and spiritual maturity.  The Church Father Origen who was portrayed as the greatest teacher second only to the Apostles stated of the physical resurrection that it was “preached in the Churches… for the simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief”.   Why?   Because of their untransformed carnal condition of mind and being, this was all that they were capable of comprehending.  Each of us exists at a station in our Soul's existence -- and unless you understand how and why you are presently at this station -- what has created the events in your life -- what is it that you are supposed to accomplish in your life -- then you have permitted yourself to be mentally flat-lined and spiritually dead-ended -- with very little opportunity to accomplish your very purpose of life.

There are no accidents in the life you are living.  Every event that you have experienced, was brought about by a causal-factor that initiated the event in your life, in order to bring about the objective of the initiating causal-factor.  And therefore, when you imagine that the events you experience is by chance, accident, luck of the draw, fate, or any other unknown factor -- without understanding that all the events, and even the very life you are presently living has an initiating causal-factor -- then you are dwelling under the cloud of abject self-ignorance.  And unless you begin to understand the causal-factor of the events in your life, you will fail to make any serious gains in accord with the reason you are presently living the very life you are living.   Unless you come to understand why Paul conveyed to the Christians who he had himself taught, why he was only able to nourish them with the "milk" of the Gospel "traditions" -- and was not able to provide them the "solid food" of maturity.   And unless you understand why the knowledge of the "mysteries" of life could only be conveyed to the disciples of Jesus -- and why all others were taught by the enigma of parables as confirmed in the words: "And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it.  But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples" (Mark 4:33-34).  And unless you are able to understand why Origen stated that the Gospel "traditions" was taught to the "...simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief”.   Which means that unless you understand why the "simpleminded" believers were incapable of comprehending the non-physical spiritual meaning of the Resurrection, then the best you can presently achieve is to live a better life by virtue of your entry-level immature beliefs.

While Jesus was able to explain the mysteries of life and the Gospels to his disciples, these same mysteries could not be revealed to the multitudes who came to him to be taught.  Why?  In order to understand the spiritual meaning of the Gospels, the higher reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God, the Soul would have been born into that life having received what is portrayes as the five (5) talents -- i.e., "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability" (Matt 25:15).  All the important answers to life have been rendered impossible for the body of Christian believers to understand, because key essential teachings have been removed from the Gospels by the Church of Rome.   Resulting in the fact that modern Christians have been programmed by the counterfeit shepherds of the Church to think in a pagan and subjective manner -- sinners remain in subjection to their sinful lower natures, and utilize pagan sacrifices to justify their sinfulness.   From the pagan sacrificial perspective, there simply is no place in their dogmatic thinking for the words: "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who ...then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).

That the statement by Paul and the other biblical authors that the fate of most Christians is worse than that of the unbelievers, simply cannot even be imagined from the Church's pagan dogmatic perspective.   Why?  Because the original Gospel focus became so altered under the domain of Pagan Rome -- and the original Gospel objectives became suppressed and even portrayed as heresy -- that the modern Christian is spiritually disenfranchised to the degree that the present Gospel teachings can no longer support the original intended purpose of the very core principles of the New Covenant ( Old Vs New Covenants http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#OldVsNewCovenants ).  Yet, what we see portrayed in these important words is the original meaning of the doctrine that Jesus made himself a sacrifice for sinners -- i.e., "...that they might return to the truth and sin no more"  (see  Moffatt, quoting Gospel Of Mark in Codex W; Also quoted by St. Jerome as being the authentic ending of the Gospel of Mark).  On the other hand, the great truth that is clearly presented in the reality that those who continue to sin after coming to the knowledge of the Gospel,  "...commit apostasy" [and] "...crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt"!!!   And contrary to the pagan doctrines adopted by the fourth century Church, Paul warns that  "...there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries."    And while Peter warns in the above that the fate of complacent believers who continue to sin after coming to the knowledge of the Gospel is worse off than before they learned of the Good News, the modern Christian world has become so spiritually disenfranchised, that they are incapable of understanding these original foundational Gospel teachings and concepts.   Why?  Because what is preached in the Churches today, has relatively little in common with what Jesus actually taught.  And in truth, modern Christian doctrine is founded upon the religious principles of Pagan Rome (see The Christian Judas), than what Jesus actually taught.  How can this be?  A person will ask?  Quite contrary to modern Christian doctrine where all believers are saved, it is very clearly demonstrated in the scriptures that believers who do not live in accordance with the Commandments of the Lord will be punished more severely than the non-believer. This truth is demonstrated in the words: “That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 12:47-48).   What Jesus is stating to the reader is that believer’s who do not fulfill the Commandments, will be punished more than those who do not know the will of God.    This whole line of teaching simply has no place in the dogma of the modern Church as restored at http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com .

The leaders among the carnal Jews who interpreted the scriptures in outward ritual and tradition, had thrown away the Key of Knowledge -- and as such, had alienated themselves from the Inner Kingdom, and were as Jesus portrayed them as "blind guides" who were leading the people in the wrong direction.    When Jesus portrayed them as being "without" -- i.e., "...but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables" -- this was a similar condition expressed in the spiritual reality that they existed either in what Jesus portrayed as The Prison, or in the  "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Outer Darkness).    And because the leaders of the Jews expressed the scriptures in outward ritual and tradition, and failed to use them as the  Key of Knowledge, was the reason why they were blind guides who could "...not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand" -- and this remains true of the congregation of Christian who continue to embrace the way of the carnal Jews today.

The Gospel accounts state that Jesus only spoke to the multitude of hearers in the enigma of parables, it is imperative that we recognize that Jesus did not, and could not, speak and teach plainly to those who are portrayed as being "without" the House -- i.e.,  "And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it.  But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples" (Mark 4:33-34 NKJV).    The word translated "explained", in the phrase "And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples", literally translated from the Greek into English means to "unloose or untie" -- i.e., what has been "bound or sealed up" -- and "what is obscure and hard to understand" (from Thayer's Greek Lexicon).   And the word translated secret or mystery, makes reference to an esoteric knowledge that can only be revealed spiritually to one who is "in the House", because it is beyond the organic comprehension of those who are portrayed as being "without", or "outside" the House.    The term "open and unloose" the mind, is was also used in the Gospel as the path to entering the Inner Kingdom (see Open & Unloose The Mind).

And when he comes to understand it, he will admire the reason why some are said to be without, and others in the house”.

Understanding The Intelligent Universe -- The Clock Maker vs Jalopy Universe: Deism maintains that Creator-God does not directly intervene  in the affairs of man.  Why?  In the same way that once fertilized, an embryo develops in accord with the Natural Laws, the same is true with respect to all of Creation.  When the Laws that were put into effect at the Alpha of Creation are understood, perhaps the best way to understand these Laws that the Deists portrayed as the Laws of Nature and Nature's God, is as a Spiritual Bio-Feedback organism that like a developing embryo, dynamically evolves each soul to completion by intimately responding to our every action, reaction and failure to act -- and responds appropriately when the time is opportune for our greatest learning and advancement.  What this means is that each person evolves by virtual of confronting their own previous actions -- i.e., "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Gal 6:7).  Which reality of the Natural Laws is expressed in the words: "In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets" (Matt 7:12).  That these Laws were put into action in the Alpha of Creation -- and are the Perfect Works of Creator-God that is Dynamically connected to the movement of man -- is a reality of the Laws that the core Deists attempted unsuccessfully to convey to the Theists and organized religion.  Finally, it is ultra important to understand the primary difference between the Theist and Deist perceptions of God and the two allegorical Creation Accounts in Genesis (see The Two Creation Accounts above @ http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheTwoCreationAccounts ).

The Theists asserted that it is necessary for Creator-God to perpetually intervene in the day to day affairs of this world, while the Deist position was that Creator-God brought forth and initiated a series of Laws which He (quoting Wikipedia: Deism): "...endowed the world at creation with self-sustaining and self-acting powers and then abandoned it to the operation of these powers acting as second causes."  What is said to be the Deist theology has often been portrayed as the Clock Maker Universe Theory -- i.e., (Quoting): "The clockwork universe theory compares the universe to a mechanical clock wound up by a supreme being, or initiated by the Big Bang. It continues ticking along, as a perfect machine, with its gears governed by the laws of physics, making every single aspect of the machine completely predictable. Before the emergence of quantum mechanics, many scientists believed that the Universe was completely deterministic in this way. ...This conception of the universe consisted of a huge, regulated and uniform machine that operated according to natural laws in absolute time, space, and motion. God was the master-builder, who created the perfect machine and let it run. God was the Prime Mover, who brought into being the world in its lawfulness, regularity, and beauty. This view of God as the creator, who stood aside from his work and didn’t get involved directly with humanity, was called Deism (which predates Newton) and was accepted by many who supported the 'new philosophy'."

Do we interact with God?  Or with the Laws of God?  With the Natural Laws acting as a Living Bio-Feedback Organism that to some degree interacts with our every word, thought desire and especially our actions and deeds, then prayer that attunes the mind to man's higher spiritual reality can be invoked if we are sincere in our thoughts and actions.   And while this will be seen as God interacting with our prayers, it is in reality an example of our positive interaction with the Natural Laws that returns to each person the fruit of their own thoughts and actions.   That the prayers of man does answered in the form of him getting all that people pray for, is because his (1) prayers cannot circumvent his previous actions; and (2) the example of Jesus in the Lord's Prayer is for the Kingdom to Come within us as detailed at The End Times - Armageddon/Rapture - The Coming Of The Kingdom http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#EndTimes .  Thus, Jesus said to his disciples: "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matt 6:7-10).  Thus, as the prodigal son who is lost in the Far Country, the Natural Laws are perpetually attempting to prepare us to "come to our senses" (Luke 15:17)., and embrace the Natural Laws that will lead us back to our Source in the Edenic Kingdom.

If the Deist perception of God can be portrayed in the Clockmaker theology that once the clock is built and wound, it will thereafter function exactly as designed, the Theist perspective of God is that of a tinkerer who has pieced together a jalopy-universe that is in need of constant intervention in order to make the thing work. The problem is that in the correct vision of Creation, both paradoxical opposite positions each possess degrees of truth -- and this truth can only be understood by a person of an evolved depth of vision and comprehension.  The journey of mankind in this world is presented in the parable of the Two Sons -- often portrayed as the prodigal son who ventures into this world and falls under the control of the Power of the Citizen of this, the Far Country.   In the parable of the prodigal son, the Father does not come rushing into what is portrayed as the Far Country every time his lost son is in need, or suffering a fate that he has brought upon himself.  And yet, when the parable is understood, it can be seen where both perceptions (the Theist and Deist) to some degree are equally true -- i.e., it is stated that the son had a change of mind: “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father." So it can be said that so long as the son remained attached to the thinking and lifestyle of this world which is portrayed in the parable as the Far Country, no intervention took place on the part of the Father.  Yet, we do have this intervention at a certain point when the son began his journey in TheWay Home to the Kingdom of the Father: “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." And since the parables are representative of the universal plight of mankind, this intervention was personal, and in accord with the individual's spiritual condition.

So long as the prodigal son remained under the influence and power of the Citizen of the Far Country -- i.e., the consciousness of this world -- at no time did the Father intervene in the affairs of his son.  And when the Natural Laws are understood, no intervention could take place, until the lost prodigal son "...came to his senses", and began his journey back to his Father.  So, when Theists claims that God routinely intervenes in the affairs and lives of the lost prodigal sons and daughters -- this is simply not true.  No intervention can take place, until the prodigal sons and daughters "turn about", (see The Enigma Of The Children) and make serious change in their lives that constitutes the Journey in TheWay where the prodigal seeks to return to the Kingdom which s/he originally abandoned.   And only when the prodigal had "...come to his senses", and abandoned the Far County, and was still journeying back to his Father, did the Father directly intervene in assisting him.    And basically, this is exactly what is asserted by the Deists.

To understand the Natural Laws, it is imperative to understand the Two Creation Accounts in Genesis (see The Laws of the Two Creation Accounts and how they intimately effect all of mankind. http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheTwoCreationAccounts ).  On what is portrayed as the Sabbath in the first Creation account, the Laws were brought fourth that would drive Creation from the Alpha of undeveloped ignorance, to the Omega of Enlightened Light.  And it is these Laws of Nature and Nature's God that man is interacting with (see The Living Bio-Feedback Organism ).  While the prodigal son can interact with the Logos of Creator-God directly (see At-Onement With The Logos/Son Of God http://BrotherOfJesus.org#AtOnement ), this can only be accomplished by those who begin the journey Home by travailing in TheWay.  Which means that in the traditional conflict between the Theists and Deists, the Deists are more correct than the Theists.  And this is because those who can be defined as True and Enlightened Deists, understand the Journey of the Soul that evolves to Completion and Wholeness over the Course of many lifetimes.   This ultra-important teaching was understood by the Jews and Greeks when the historical man Jesus lived (see Biblical Foundation Mindset ).  This teaching on the pre-existent Soul was openly taught by the pre-Nicene Church (see The Early Church On Predestination ).   This teaching was then outlawed by the Church when it fell under absolute control of a series of Roman Emperors (see The Religion Of Roman Emperors ).   But with the discovery of the Gospel of Thomas and other important pre-Nicene scriptures and writings, the true foundation of the Church has been restored (see The Restored Foundation ).

The Deist Bottom Line: In the above it is easily demonstrated and proven that the original followers and disciples of Jesus understood the Journey of the Soul.  In the words of the Church Father Origen: “Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life” (Origen, De Principiis).   When rightly understood, the primary difference between the Theists and the Deists, is seen in the fact that the Deists understood the Journey of the prodigal son and the Natural Laws that evolved the Soul to Completion and Wholeness.   Which confirms the fact that men such as Pythagoras and Plato were themselves Deists.  As was the priest, Giordano Bruno, who was burnt as the stake by the Church for preaching the Original Gospel Teachings that were outlawed by the Church (see Spiritual Religion).  As a Deist, Bruno understood the Journey of the Soul, and taught that "The soul is not the body and it may be in one body or in another, and pass from body to body".   In confirmation of Origen's foregoing statement, Bruno taught that "Every act performed brings its appropriate reward or punishment in another life. In proportion as the soul has conducted itself in a body, it determines for itself its transition into another body".  Which is confirmation of the reality that "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Gal 6:7 NKJ).   The Deist who understands the Natural Laws of Creation, understand how the Laws acting as a Bio-Feedback Organism, returns to each of the prodigal sons and daughters the fruit of their own thinking, ways, words and actions -- which, over the course of many lives, evolves the Soul to a state of Completion and Wholeness.    The Theist whose thinking and understanding is shackled by The Religious Dogma Of Roman Emperors, is incapable of understanding how the Natural Laws reflects back to each person "...whatever each person sows, that they will also reap".

Fulfilling And Overcoming The Natural Law: Jesus said and taught his disciples with respect to the Natural Law: "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished" (Matt 5:13-18).   And with respect to each person fulfilling the Law, Jesus stated: "So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:19-20).  To the above the Gospel of the Nazirenes has: "They who believe and obey will save their souls, and they who don't obey will lose them. For I say to you".   And with respect to the Law, Jesus said to the man who asked him how to achieve eternal life: "As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. 'Good teacher,' he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?'" (Mark 10:17).  In answer to his question, Jesus said: "You know the commandments: 'You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.'"

These words of Jesus with respect to fulfilling the (Natural) Law, can only be understood within the construct of what the Deists portrayed as the Law of Nature and Nature's God -- i.e., the Law that was put into effect in the Alpha of Creation that evolves each Soul to the Omega where each Soul evolves to Wholeness and Completion -- i.e., "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect (Matt 5:48) -- and this Wholeness and Perfection can only be fulfilled by fulfilling the Law within your own mind and consciousness in the manner that the man Jesus did.  When the man called Jesus "Good teacher" (Mark 10:17), Jesus replied to him: Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God" (Mark 10:18).  When the people questioned the source of Jesus' words, he called himself a prophet: "So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house" (Matt 13:57).

Prior to the scriptures being edited to support the Pagan doctrines of Rome (see http://BibleCorruption.com ), the words spoken to Jesus by the Father was: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee"  (see http://TheTenWords.com ).   And this original statement is further confirmed in both the Book of Acts, as well as the Epistle to the Hebrews -- wherein, with regard to the passage at Hebrews 1:5, The Adam Clark Commentary writes: "This most important use of this saying has passed unnoticed by almost every Christian writer which I have seen; and yet it lies here at the foundation of all the apostle's proofs. If Jesus was not thus the Son of God, the whole Christian system is vain and baseless..."   Stating that if what Paul states is true -- which the scriptures confirm (see http://TheTenWords.com ), then "...the whole Christian system is vain and baseless..."   Why?    Because the teachings of Jesus represented the pattern of healing to bring about Wholeness -- whereas, the Church since the fourth century has used Jesus as a Pagan mojo sacrifice to peddle a license for those of a heathen mind and lifestyle of perversion, to dwell in a state of perpetual sin and spiritual abandonment.   Ignoring the words of Paul that such a mindset and lifestyle is "...apostasy [ to TheWay], since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.."   Warning that those who call themselves Christians and thereafter "...sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins" (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).

Jesus came to fulfill the Law within his own mind, and to teach other lost prodigal sons and daughters to do the same by picking up their own cross and travailing in TheWay -- i.e., “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me...” (Matt 10:38-39).  And this fulfillment of the Law is exactly what Jesus taught, and his original Ebionite Nazirene disciples believed -- i.e. that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34).   When the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples and followers of Jesus expressed the need to fulfill the Law, it was not the literal allegorical text of the Torah which is observed in outward ritual and tradition in the manner of the Jews that was being made reference to -- but rather, the Universal Law of Mind and Spirit that is allegorically presented and functioning within each and every one of us.   Therefore, when the Ebionite Nazirene were portrayed as being Torah Observant, the Law was therefore observed in the exact manner that Jesus said was necessary -- i.e., "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life" (John 6:63).   The early Church writer Epiphanius wrote that the Ebionites "do not accept Moses' Pentateuch in its entirety; certain sayings they reject... stating Christ has revealed this to me, and will blaspheme most of the legislation" (Panarion 30.18.7-9).   For them to be accused of "blaspheming most of the legislation",  means that they did not at all observe the Torah outwardly in accordance with the letter of the written word in the manner of the Jews -- but rather, they understood the allegorical symbolism that was applicable to unlocking the inner door to the Kingdom.    Therefore, the Ebionites were using the scriptures as Jesus taught as the Key of Knowledge ( http://KeyOfKnowledge.org ) by turning the scriptures within their own mind and being in the transformation of the body into the Living Consecrated Temple of the Most High.  And this is why Jesus commanded his disciples to pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay -- following in his footsteps.

That the historical man Jesus was a pattern for all of mankind because of his success in overcoming and fulfilling the Law within himself, is demonstrated in the words: "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ..."   And this confirms this statement with respect to the true potential of all of mankind that Jesus taught, as demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus when he wrote that this body of original core followers and disciple believed that when anyone "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ).   Which means that what Jesus accomplished, is in fact the eventual destiny of all of mankind who are portrayed as the lost prodigal sons and daughters of their Heavenly Father.   And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17).     That the historical Jesus was a true holy man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling the Royal Law within his own mind, is attested to at Acts 2:22 where Jesus is portrayed as "a man, attested to you by God" -- and this was demonstrated by God performing "mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst".   If Jesus was himself God incarnate as believed by the later Romans, then these words portraying Jesus as a man approved by God through the works and wonders that God did through him, never would have been presented in this manner.

It was the living of the necessary Consecrated Life that Jesus ordained, and the seeking of the Kingdom within, that enabled the historical Jesus to become the Messiah, and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God (see At-Onement With The Logos/Son Of God http://BrotherOfJesus.org#AtOnement ) -- a path and teachings that the modern Church totally rejects based upon the doctrine of faith apart from one's actions which was instituted by Martin Luther.   And the reality that Jesus, the man, became the Anointed, and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God, is especially demonstrated in the words of Edward Gibbon with respect to the original position of the Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus that he was in “...supernatural union of a man and God... In their eyes, Jesus of Nazareth was a mere mortal, the legitimate son of Joseph and Mary: but he was the best and wisest of the human race, selected as the worthy instrument to restore upon earth the worship of the true and supreme Deity. When he was baptized in the Jordan, the Christ, the first of the aeons, the Son of God himself, descended on Jesus in the form of a dove, to inhabit his mind, and direct his actions during the allotted period of his ministry” (Gibbon; The Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, V.4, P.366).

It must be noted that the mother and family of Jesus were all Ebionites -- as was his brother Jacob who they call James, and was the leader of the Ebionite Community.   In the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbon notes that the teachings of Jesus was “…embraced by great numbers of the Therapeutae, or Essinians…”, and wrote that: “Le Clerc (Hist. Ecclesiast p. 477, 535) seems to have collected from Eusebius, Jerome, Epiphanius, and other writers, all the principle circumstances that relate to the Nazarenes or Ebionites. The nature of their opinions soon divided them into a stricter and milder sect; and there is some reason to conjecture that the family of Jesus remained members, at least, of the latter and more moderate party”.   The Ebionites who were totally faithful to the Original Gospel teaching, understood that the Kingdom or Second Coming can only come within the mind and body of the seeker/disciple who lives the necessary Consecrated Life in TheWay.

When questioned by Pilate, Jesus said that his Kingdom was not of this world: "Jesus answered, 'My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight... but now My kingdom is not from here'" (John 18:36 NKJ).   The reality of this inner Kingdom was further confirmed when Jesus stated to the Pharisees: "Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ).   And that this was the original Ebionite Nazirene teaching on the Kingdom is further documented by Edward Gibbon in the Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire where he writes: "Among the Christians who were brought before the tribunal of the emperor, or, as it seems more probable, before that of the procurator of Judaea, two persons are said to have appeared, distinguished by their extraction, which was more truly noble than that of the greatest monarchs. These were the grandsons of St. Jude the apostle, who himself was the brother of Jesus Christ.   Their natural pretensions to the throne of David might perhaps attract the respect of the people, and excite the jealousy of the governor; but the meanness of their garb, and the simplicity of their answers, soon convinced him that they were neither desirous nor capable of disturbing the peace of the Roman empire. They frankly confessed their royal origin, and their near relation to the Messiah; but they disclaimed any temporal views, and professed that his kingdom, which they devoutly expected, was purely of a spiritual and angelic nature."

The grandsons of Jude devoutly expected the Kingdom to come within them, because they understood how man must fulfill the Law within one's self -- thereby becoming the Living Temple of the Most High.   The Ebionite Nazirene Disciples of Jesus understood the words: "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:17-20).

The historical and spiritual factualness of the above can be proven when one understands the original words that were spoken to the man Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan River -- when the Voice of God stated: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" -- which means that the historical man Jesus was a man who -- having fulfilled the Law within himself -- became the Messiah/Christ when he overcame the Laws and became Anointed by God.  That the words spoken by God to mankind were corrupted by the fourth century Church of Constantine, is proven at http://TheTenWords.com .  When the historical man Jesus is understood as the first of the prodigal sons to overcome the Law within himself and return to the Father in the Edenic Kingdom, then the statement in the Gospel Of the Hebrews can be understood: "And it came to pass when the Lord was come up out of the water, the whole fount of the Holy Spirit descended upon him and rested on him and said to him: My Son, in all the prophets was I waiting for thee that thou shouldest come and I might rest in thee".   The Greek word Christ and the Hebrew word Messiah in English mean The Anointed -- and there were twenty-one (21) prophets and kings in the Old Testament who were "Anointed" by God -- i.e.,  "...in all the prophets was I waiting for thee that thou shouldest come and I might rest in thee".   All of the Anointed (Christ/Messiah) kings and prophets failed to fulfill the Law completely -- i.e.,  "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ. , for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34).  By fulfilling the Law within himself, Jesus fulfilled the requirement to be perfect -- i.e., "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt 5:48).    Which those who were previously Anointed (Messiah/Christ) had not accomplished -- as stated in the Gospel of the Hebrews: "For in the prophets also, after they were anointed by the Holy Spirit, the word of sin was found".    This confirms what Hippolytus wrote when he confirmed that the body of original core followers and disciple believed that when anyone "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ).   Which means that what Jesus accomplished, is in fact the eventual destiny of all of mankind who are portrayed as the lost prodigal sons and daughters of their Heavenly Father.   And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17 NIV).    Which was further witnessed to by the Disciples where it is proclaimed: "And we ourselves proclaim to you the good news of the promise that was made to our ancestors. God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: You are My Son; today I have become Your Father" (Acts 13:32-33) -- and again Paul states: "For to which of the angels did He ever say, You are My Son; today I have become Your Father, or again, I will be His Father, and He will be My Son?" (Heb 1:5).   These biblical witnesses are incomprehensible to the modern Christian whose beliefs are based upon the doctrines of Constantine and Martin Luther.

What Jesus taught and revealed to his disciples with regard to who he was, is exactly what was stated by Peter after he was himself totally enlightened by the Holy Spirit: “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know” (Acts 2:22 NIV).   Where did Peter get the notion that Jesus was a man -- a man "accredited by God" -- a man that God performed miracles, wonders and signs  "...which God did among you through him"?   Didn’t Jesus himself say that “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself...” (John 5:19 NAS);   “The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works” (John 14:10 NKJ); “I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:30 NKJ); “...I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him” (John 8:28-29 NIV); “for the works which the Father has given Me to finish -- the very works that I do -- bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me” (John 5:36 NKJ); “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You” (John 17:6-7 NKJ).

The important spiritual truth that is demonstrated in the above is that EVERY PRODIGAL SON AND DAUGHTER has the capacity to become Anointed and arise to perfection as their elder brother Jesus did.   And this is further confirmed in the quotation of the Apostle Peter by his disciple Clement in the Homilies where it is written: “For even the Hebrews who believe Moses, and do not observe the things spoken by him, are not saved, unless they observe the things that were spoken to them. For their believing Moses was not of their own will, but of God, who said to Moses, Behold, I come to thee in a pillar of cloud, that the people may hear me speaking to thee, and may believe thee for ever. Since, therefore, both to the Hebrews and to those who are called from the Gentiles, believing in the teachers of truth is of God, while excellent actions are left to every one to do by his own judgment, the reward is righteously bestowed upon those who do well. For there would have been no need of Moses, or of the coming of Jesus, if of themselves they would have understood what is reasonable. Neither is there salvation in believing in teachers and calling them lords”.

Christ Before Jesus: When rightly understood, the Roman Empire was not converted to the religion of Jesus -- but rather, the personage and image of Jesus was converted to Mithraism -- and it is easy to prove and demonstrate that even the name Christian is drawn directly from Mithraism.  And while there appears on the surface to be many similarities between Mithraism and the Gospel account of Jesus, these similarities are based upon the allegorical symbols that portray the Universal Cosmology of Mind that is not at all understood by the body of faith-based believers.   This is a fact: If you are a modern Christian, then the most basic and fundamental tenets of belief that you hold as truth, not only has nothing in common with the positions of the people who Jesus personally taught -- but if a believer that Jesus personally taught came to visit your Church, they would be labeled a heretic.  Therefore the question must be posed: Was the man Jesus an incompetent teacher who was unable to clarify what is necessary for salvation?  Or, was the original teachings of Jesus changed and corrupted?

Who were the Ebionites?  In the first century, all believers and followers of Jesus were known as Ebionites. Thus, the early Church Authority Epiphanius writes that the name Ebionite "...was at first ...a common name for all" the original followers of Jesus (Epiphanius Adv. Haer., xxix. 1).  Yet today the name Ebionite is often portrayed as heresy.  Why?  If all the original followers of Jesus were Ebionites, as Epiphanius stated, then why are these earliest followers of Jesus portrayed as the heresy of the Ebionites?  Because the Church that evolved out of the Roman and Greek Gentiles had virtually nothing in common with the original Gospel teachings.   In fact, in the manner of the modern faith-based believers, the Church that evolved out of the body of Gentile believers totally rejected the core foundation of the New Covenant (see Old Vs New Covenants http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#OldVsNewCovenants ).

There is a factual assertion that I can set before you that is an undeniable truth that all faith-based believers must eventually confront -- i.e., as a believer, you have never so much as heard the position of the original followers of Jesus that has been labeled the Ebionite heresy.   Designed to be used as the Key of Knowledge that unlocks the inn "narrow strait" Gate of Eden  within the mind of the sincere seeker, the Gospels were written by Ebionites who authored the scriptures to be used in a New Covenant Mode and Mindset that was totally rejected by the Gentile Church.   Where the plight of man is portrayed in the statement: "Therefore the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken" (Gen 3:23), the Force and Barrier that causes man to wander in this, the "Outer Darkness" of what is portrayed as the Far Country in the parable of the prodigal son, inhibits mankind from returning to his True Home and Source of Being in the Edenic Kingdom of their Heavenly Father -- placing a barrier between this world and the Kingdom as declared in the statement: "So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim to the east of the Garden of Eden, with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life" (Gen 3:24).  BUT, when the Gospels are used as the Key of Knowledge as designed by the Ebionite authors, mankind as the lost prodigal sons and daughters can safely pass through the  inner  "narrow strait gate" that enables the seeker safe passage by the "cherubim" who guard the Tree of Life with their "whirling sword of flame", and allow entrance to the Edenic Kingdom within.  Jesus declared to his followers: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matt 7:13-14 NIV).    Because the Church threw away the Key of Knowledge, and adopted pagan dogmatic doctrines of belief, the Christian world sits idly complacent on the side of the "broad-way  ...that leads to destruction."   When Jesus commanded those who would be his followers: “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matt 10:38-39) -- it will remain virtually impossible for you to enter through the "narrow strait gate" within you, without using the Gospels as the Key of Knowledge that enables you to pass by the "cherubim" who guard the Tree of Life with their "whirling sword of flame" -- thereby escaping the "outer darkness" of this, the Far Country -- and gain entrance to the Edenic Kingdom within you (see The Application Of The Key Of Knowledge http://KeyOfKnowledge.org#ApplicationOfTheKeyOfKnowledge ).  "How terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you hide the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering" (Luke 11:52).  Thus, in understanding these words spoken to the Pharisees, the questions must be asked: How did the Pharisees and Jewish authorities "...hide the key to knowledge from the people"?   Why did Jesus condemn the leaders of the Jews for failing to enter the Kingdom themselves? -- i.e., "...You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves"!   And how did the religious leaders of the Jews "...prevent others from entering?"   In further clarification, the TEV version of the this verse states: “How terrible for you teachers of the Law! You have kept the key that opens the door to the house of knowledge; you yourselves will not go in, and you stop those who are trying to go in!” (Luke 11:52 TEV).

What the above means is that if you fail to utilize the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge -- turning them within your own mind in order to open the "narrow strait gate" within you -- thereby enabling you to acquire the Power and Ability to safely pass by the "cherubim" who guard the Tree of Life with their "whirling sword of flame", then you are not a follower of Jesus and the New Covenant.   The author and visionary Philip K. Dick was able to recall his Soul's previous life in the first century where he lived as an original follower of Jesus.  He also wrote with respect to the original disciples of Jesus that:  "Christ ...taught his followers how to enter the kingdom while still alive, where other mystery religions only bring about amnesis: knowledge of it at the 'other time' in 'the other realm,' not here.  He causes it to come here, and is the living agency to the Sole Good God (i.e. the Logos)."    This is true -- and that the original Gospel message was to develop the mind through the transformative process of expansion and deepening of consciousness, and then enable the disciple of TheWay to gain entrance into the Inner Kingdom, is easily demonstrated in the above quotations on the proper use of the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge.

As a Mystery religion, the objective of the religion was to acquire what Philip K. Dick portrays above at the ability to bring about amnesis, which can be defined as observing through meditation in the manner of the traditional monk.  BUT, as Philip K. Dick confirms what is presented in the Gospel teachings, Jesus taught his followers how to enter the Kingdom -- and through the Anointing (Messiah/Christ) of the Mind, enabling his disciples to be taught directly from the One and Only Teacher that Jesus instructed his followers to seek out and learn from (see The One Teacher http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher ).   Few modern believers even understand the foundation of The New Covenant -- i.e., "For this is the covenant that I will make ...says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them" (Heb 8:10-11 NKJ).  Yet, the Christian world has rejected the very foundation of the New Covenant by virtue of countless teachers, Bible Commentaries, a mass of Bible interpretations  and the adoption of man-made dogma that inhibits the believer's spiritual advancement.  Thus, the reality of the words of Isaiah have enveloped the modern faith-based believers in the quagmire of their own self-imposed spiritual shackles: "For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed" (Isa 9:6).    And when rightly understood, the resounding truth is that the modern believers have chosen tradition and man-made dogma over the Knowledge of the Original Teachings associated with the New Covenant -- i.e., "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..." (Hos 4:6).

In the Epistle of Peter to James it is warned that if the esoteric body of knowledge of how the Gospels must be used as the Key of Knowledge is thrown away or lost, that  "...it will remain even for those who really seek the truth, always to wander in error" -- and the prediction by the Apostle Peter has been confirmed as true.  As blind guides that led the people in the wrong direction -- looking for the Kingdom to come outwardly instead of within the body and mind of the believer -- the Gospel account of Jesus portrayed the Pharisees as the "spawn of the devil" -- i.e, "Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word"  As to why the Jews could not understand spiritual teachings and concepts, Jesus explained: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:43-44).  That the modern clergy and Church authorities interpret the scriptures in the same manner as the Pharisees, has caused the modern believer to remain banished in this, the Far Country.  Which provokes the question: What makes the theological and spiritual positions of the Ebionites heresy?  Because they learned and were taught by Jesus how to apply the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge and gain entrance to the Inner Kingdom -- how to fulfill the Laws that guard the Tree of Life in the manner of a  "whirling sword of flame" -- the Ebionites were condemned as Gnostics and heretics.  Why?  Because the Ebionites confirmed the statement in the Gospels of the fate of those who throw away the Key of Knowledge -- i.e., "you do not understand what I say? ...because you cannot bear to hear my word".  Why?  Because those who reject and condemn the knowledge of the proper use of the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge, remain lost and incapable of hearing and understanding the Sacred Body of Knowledge that could only be revealed to those who made themselves into the "good ground" that is portrayed in the parable of the Sower and the Seed ( http://Messianic.Nazirene.org/sower_seed.html ) -- “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand” (Mark 4:11-12).  Why did Jesus portray some people as "...seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand”?  What Jesus said was that, unless certain transformative requirements are fulfilled by a person, they will see, but remain blind and unable to understand with any depth of what they are seeing.  And this is verified by Paul when he stated to the Corinthians who he had himself taught what he portrayed as the (quasi-historical) "traditions" of the Gospel that, "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal" (1 Cor 3:1-3).  Paul was stating that it was not a matter of teaching or instruction -- but rather, of the "natural" mind of man evolving beyond man's organic limitations, that would raise them up to a level of higher spiritual maturity.  And this is why the Church Father Origen who was portrayed as the greatest teacher second only to the Apostles stated of the physical resurrection that it was preached in the Churches… for the simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief” (see Contra Celsum).   Why?   Because of their untransformed carnal condition of mind and being, this allegorical portrayal of the Final Stage of Birth was all that the faith-based believers were capable of comprehending.

Everything you have heard or been told about the beliefs of those who Jesus personally taught is based upon partisan ignorance of the source.  In view of the fact that all the modern knowledge about the Ebionites has been drawn from their opponents and detractors who were themselves blind guides who threw away the Key of Knowledxge, you have never heard the explanation from the Ebionites as to their use and positions on the scriptures, and why they held and embraced the spiritual positions that they did.  While the Dead Sea Scrolls have revealed that the Essenes were the foundation of the New Covenant Gospel teachings, the Ebionite Nazirenes came into existence as a direct result of the influence and teachings of Jesus.  And even more important is the fact that the opponents of the Ebionites, was based upon Greek and Roman detractors.   Which not only confirms the fact that those of whom it was stated that, while "...seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand”, were the ones who condemned the Ebionties as gnostic heretics.  And to their own spiritual defeat, the modern Christian has embraced their blind dogmatic ramblings, hook, line and sinker.

The word Ebionite means the "poor ones", which portrays a people who are separate and set aside from the thinking and lifestyle of this world.  Therefore, they are the "set apart" ones who are the "poor" to the ways and thinking of this world.  Quoting the Gospel of the Nazirenes: "Blessed in spirit are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven".  Which is the basis of the requirement to be "in the world and not of it" -- i.e., "Then I heard another voice from heaven say: 'Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues" (Rev 18:4).  With respect to the question as to how "set apart" were the original Ebionite followers and disciples of Jesus?  The historian Edward Gibbon writes that the original Ebionite Nazirene followers of Jesus were “…rejected from one religion as apostates, and from the other as heretics” (Gibbon: Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, v.1, p.416).  Being rejected by both Jews and Christians alike, the fate of the original followers of Jesus who walked and talked with him daily during his earthly ministry, can be summed up in the words of Jesus that: "They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God" (John 16:2).  Thus, neither Judaism or modern Christianity has anything in common with the original teachings of Jesus.

Regardless of the fact that it was the Ebionite Nazirenes who walked and talked daily with the man Jesus during his earthly ministry, the congregation of modern faith-based believers have been denied access to the witness of the Ebionites.   From the perspective of the Roman Church, the Ebionites who were the only people who actually engaged in important conversations with the man Jesus, were "...apostates, and ...heretics” who totally rejected the wisdom and doctrines embraced by those secular leaders of the very worldly Church of Pagan Rome.   Which raises the question: How could the doctrines of a Church that was totally immersed in the man-made pagan thinking of this world, even begin to understand the higher spiritual concepts and realities of a community of seekers who were not only totally "set apart" from the thinking of this world, but whose minds were opened and Anointed by the Holy Spirit?  When Prof. John Allegro who was quoted as saying that what was revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church.   This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers.   The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine), he was warning the faith-based believers that the doctrines of Pagan Rome which are presently the foundation of the Church and modern Christianity, have virtually nothing in common with the Original Gospel teachings of the man Jesus and the Essene Ebionite Source of these teachings.  And in confirmation of the foregoing statement of Prof. Allegro, it was confirmed by A. Powell Davies that: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls).   Yet, because neither the faith-based believers or the modern theologians possessed any understanding of the Ebionite Nazirenes who were hunted down by the Gentile Church and silenced, the man-made doctrines of the Church are based upon the worship of the sun-god Mithra.

Why is it stated in the scriptures that a sincere seeker of Truth had to be "set apart" -- i.e., a "poor one" (Ebionite) -- who is totally detached from the thinking and lifestyle of this world?  Why are those attached to the thinking of this world portrayed as: "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it".  Why are those who throw away the Key of Knowledge portrayed as blind guides who are the "spawn of the devil"?  And why is the Sacred Knowledge of Jesus as taught to his Ebionite followers and disciples of how the scriptures must be used as the Key of Knowledge, condemned as "gnostic heretics"

One of the primary plagues noted in the quotation drawn from the Revelation -- i.e., "...so that you will not receive any of her plagues" -- is the plague of abject spiritual ignorance -- which is a reality that the Church has brought upon itself.  The true followers of Jesus must turn away from the ways and thinking of this world as stated: "Therefore, Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you" (2 Cor 6:17).  Why is it important for the follower of Jesus and the New Covenant to "...be separate, [AND] ...Touch no unclean thing"?  Because the core of the New Covenant teachings was to prepare the mind of the believer to be taught directly by the One Teacher as stated: "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God'" (John 6:45 see The One Teacher http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher ).  And in confirmation of this fact, the Apostle Peter who is quoted in the Homilies of his disciple Clement where he warns the followers of the Gospel to reject all human interpretations of the scriptures -- i.e., "...therefore great care is to be taken, that when the law of God is read, it be not read according to the understanding of our own mind. For there are many sayings in the divine Scriptures which can be drawn to that sense which every one has preconceived for himself; and this ought not to be done. For you ought not to seek a foreign and extraneous sense, which you have brought from without".  Which means that every Christian sect that is based upon doctrines that rely upon a human interpretation of the scriptures, is leading the congregation of believers in the wrong direction.

Why would the Apostle Peter reject a human interpretation of the scriptures?  Because the scriptures are not designed to teach you -- but to open your mind to an enlightened higher understanding by employing embedded catalysts that have the ability to connect the person you are in this world with your own Higher Mind and enable you to begin to be taught directly by the Indwelling Logos/Son of God.  Wherein the answer to the equation of achieving an enlightened perceptive-understanding is found in the statement in the Gospel of Luke with respect to the opening of the mind of the disciples in order to enable them to understand the true spiritual meaning of the written text of the scriptures: "Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures" (Luke 24:45).  Unless the believers spiritual eyes and understanding is opened and enlightened, they will remain unable to comprehend the higher reality of the Soul and the Kingdom of God.  This is is because a higher enlightened understanding can only be accomplished by opening the "eyes of the heart" -- often referenced in the words: "eyes to see" -- as seen in the reality of mankind portrayed in the Gospel: "For this people’s heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them’" (Matt 13:15).   Therefore, unless the believer has set themselves apart from the spiritually disenfranchised thinking and mindset of this world, they will remain unable to comprehend the spiritual meaning of the Gospels.  And in verification of this human reality, the second century Christian Bishop Valentinius quoted Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians when he made reference to Gnosis Kardias -- or, the enlightened eyes of the heart -- i.e.,   "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints" (Eph 1:18).   And that Paul wanted -- but could not -- speak about the Mystery and Spiritual meaning of the Gospel that remains beyond organic understanding to the Ephesians -- and could not because of their inherent human blindness that has victimized them since birth -- is the reason he portrayed himself as an ambassador in bonds: "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak" (see Eph 6:19-20).

One may ask: Isn't the scriptures composed in order to teach the person what they need to know?  Contrary to the position of modern believers and biblical scholars alike, the answer is NO !!!  The scriptures are not historical accounts -- but rather, the scriptures are accounts of the mind that employ allegorical catalysts designed to develop the innate attributes of the believers mind that enables them to begin to tap into the indwelling True Prophet (a.k.a. Logos/Son of God).  Quoting from The Cosmology Of The Gospels http://GospelCosmology.Ebionite.com : When rightly understood, the Gospels are not historical accounts -- but rather, possess embedded allegorical catalysts that use the equation of the symbolism to bring about the transformational mental-expansion and spiritual-deepening that evolves the mind to levels of Wholeness and Completion.  In order for the equation of development to properly function, the embedded symbols and catalysts must be presented in a useable form that can be embraced in the daily lives of the "babes in Christ" that Paul warns are incomprehensible to man's organic embryonic consciousness.   Therefore, the Gospels were intentionally created with an historical facade that could be intimately embraced by individuals and groups of serious seekers.   Without the historical facade of the literal text of the scriptures that Paul portrays as "Jewish folktales" (Titus 1:14), the crucial equation of development could not be put into place where the symbols and catalysts were able to properly function in the development of the mind of the seeker.

What this means is that the truth is not in the literal allegorical symbolism of the text of the scriptures -- which symbolism is designed to develop and connect the person we are in this world with our Higher Inner Self -- and ultimately, the indwelling Logos/Son of God that is the One Teacher that the Gospels command to seek out (see The One Teacher http://BrotherOfJesus.org#TheOneTeacher ).  In understanding this biblical reality, the pre-Nicene Church Father Origen portrayed the literal text of the scriptures as basically "worthless" -- i.e., “Scripture contains an unhistorical element in-woven with the history, in order that the worthlessness of the latter may drive us to seek the spiritual meaning” (Origen quoted under Origen Adamntius; The Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics).  Further explaining in De Principiis that: “Where the word found that things done according to the history could be adapted to these mystical senses, he made use of them concealing from the multitude the deeper meaning; but where in the narrative of the development of super-sensual things, there did not follow the performance of those certain events which were already indicated by the mystical meaning, the scripture interwove in the history the account of some event that did not take place, sometimes what could not have happened; sometimes what could but did not.”  And that the spiritual meaning is not found in the literal text, is why Paul portrayed the scriptures as the "letter that killeth [and] Jewish folktales" (see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14).

When rightly understood, the question should be posed:  Are those who call themselves Christian today the followers of Jesus the Nazirene?  Or has their thinking become so spiritually disenfranchised by the man-made dogma of Pagan Rome, that they are misguided blind believers  who not only reject the core New Covenant teachings, but they portray the core Gospel teachings as heresy?  Today we call ourselves by the Greek word Christian, which provokes the questions: Why isn't the word translated into English?   Have we ever questioned where the term Christian originated? And what does the word mean?  The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge confirms that the name Christian "originated outside of Christian and Jewish circles".  Which means that there were people who were outside the believer community who were called Christian prior to the advent of the man Jesus.   The Mercer Dictionary of the Bible states that: "By the late first and early second centuries the name ‘Christian,’ which early believers avoided using of themselves, was beginning to be accepted"Which provokes the question: Why did the original followers of Jesus reject being called by the name Christian?  If modern believers were truly sincere in their desire for a more intimate relationship with the Lord, they would want to know why the "early believers avoided" using the name Christian?  When it is realized that even the very name Christian was in use prior to the time of Jesus -- and when rightly understood, the beliefs that virtually all Christians hold in common are in fact founded upon the tenets of Mithraism -- we can then begin to grasp the Pagan/Mithraic connection associated with the name Christian that was rejected by the original followers and disciples of Jesus.  In the Greek and Roman Mystery Religions, the name Christian was a term employed to describe one who was an initiate, and understood the inner meaning of the Greek and Roman mystery religion Mithraism. Thus, the early followers of Jesus refused to be called Christian, and rejected calling the man Jesus the Christ, because the word was used in reference to the followers of Mithraism and the worship of their gods.  Quoting from Jesus as a Reincarnation of Mithra: "The Vatican was built upon the grounds previously devoted to the worship of Mithra (also known as Mithras) (600 B.C.). The Orthodox Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version. Virtually all of the elements of Orthodox Christian rituals, from miter, wafer, water baptism, alter, and doxology, were adopted from the Mithra and earlier pagan mystery religions. The religion of Mithra preceded Christianity by roughly six hundred years. Mithraic worship at one time covered a large portion of the ancient world. It flourished as late as the second century. The Messianic idea originated in ancient Persia and this is where the Jewish and Christian concepts of a Savior came from. Mithra, as the sun god of ancient Persia, had the following karmic similarities with Jesus:"

Perhaps the most astounding observation of the conversion of Jesus to Mithraism is preserved in a letter by the historian Vopiscus in his work, the Life of the Tyrant Saturninus, where it is written: "Those who worship Serapis are likewise Christians; even those who style themselves the bishops of Christ are devoted to Serapis. The very Patriarch himself... is forced by some to adore Serapis, by others to worship Christ" (see The Gnostics and Their Remains, by C.W. King).  Under the heading of Mystery Religions in the Encyclopedia Britannica, the intimate connection between the religion of the Nations and that of what evolved into what came to be called Christianity is readily seen in the words: "The doctrinal similarity is exemplified in the case of the pagan writer and philosopher Synesius. The people of Cyrene selected him as the most able man of the city to be their bishop, and he was able to accept the election without sacrificing his intellectual honesty. In his pagan period he wrote hymns that closely follow the fire theology of the Chaldean Oracles; later he wrote hymns to Christ. The doctrine is almost identical".  Ammonius Saccus, a Greek philosopher and founder of a Neo-platonic school taught that: "Christianity and Paganism, when rightly understood, differ in no essential points, but had a common origin, and are really one and the same thing" (see Taylor’s Diegesis, p.329).  Celsus, the Epicurean philosopher, wrote that: "The Christian religion contains nothing but what Christians hold in common with heathens; nothing new, or truly great" (see Origen, Contra Celsus).

That the initiates of Mithraism and the ancient mystery religions were called Christian prior to the time of Jesus is demonstrated in a letter from the Emperor Adrian to Servianus, written in 134 A.D., wherein it is stated: "Egypt, which you commended to me, my dearest Servianus, I have found to be wholly fickle and inconsistent, and continually wafted about by every breath of fame. The worshipers of Serapis are called Christians, and those who are devoted to the god Serapis, call themselves Bishops of Christ".  What is confirmed is that, with the advent of Jesus, the Christ or Christos was not a new term, and there were people throughout the empire who were called Christians prior to the time when the name came to be associated with the followers of Jesus.  More important, though, is the fact that they brought their pre-existing ideas and beliefs pertaining to Christ from a Mithraic perspective, into the religion of Jesus -- which teachings in their original form possessed an essence and spiritual reality that few of these Mithraic Christians could perceive.

Archaeologists have demonstrated that the word Christos, which we render Christ, has been found not only on Mithraic and Pagan temples, and used in relation to those who were said to be the sons of the Pagan gods, but the term was also engraved on tombstones and other Pagan artifacts prior to the time of Jesus.  In the Greek and Roman mystery religions of the time, the Christos was the Anointing of the Logos, and the Christian was the follower of the Anointed.  The word Logos which is used in the first chapter of the Gospel of John where it is translated the "Word" -- i.e., "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".  The Encyclopedia Britannica writes of the word Logos: “In Greek philosophy and theology, the divine reason implicit in the cosmos, ordering it and giving it form and meaning. Though the concept defined by the term logos is found in Greek, Indian, Egyptian, and Persian philosophical and theological systems... The idea of the logos in Greek thought harks back at least to the 6th-century-BC philosopher Heracleitus, who discerned in the cosmic process a logos analogous to the reasoning power in man. Later, the Stoics, philosophers who followed the teachings of the thinker Zeno of Citium (4th-3rd century BC), defined the logos as an active rational and spiritual principle that permeated all reality... Philo of Alexandria, a 1st-century-AD Jewish philosopher, taught that the logos was the intermediary between God and the cosmos, being both the agent of creation and the agent through which the human mind can apprehend and comprehend God. According to Philo and the Middle Platonists, philosophers who interpreted in religious terms the teachings of the 4th-century-BC Greek master philosopher Plato, the logos was both immanent in the world and at the same time the transcendent divine mind... The identification of Jesus with the logos, which is implied in various places in the New Testament but stated specifically in the Fourth Gospel, was further developed in the early church but more on the basis of Greek philosophical ideas... the early Christian Fathers stated that Christ as the preexistent logos (1) reveals the Father to mankind and is the subject of the Old Testament manifestations of God; (2) is the divine reason in which the whole human race shares, so that the 6th-century-BC philosopher and others who lived with reason were Christians before Christ; and (3) is the divine will and word by which the worlds were framed”

The original followers and disciples of Jesus rejected the word Christ, because the inner core of the followers of Mithraism and Greek philosophy were portrayed as Christians.  In the writings of Clement of Alexandria we find it explained that: "Those who lived according to the Logos were really Christians, though they have been thought to be atheists; as Socrates and Heraclitus were among the Greeks, and such as resembled them" (Strom. bk. i, ch xix).  Eusebius, the great historian of the early Church, admits that the religion that is called Christianity was known to the ancients (Eccl. Hist., 1, ch iv) and writes that the religion of Jesus had "...been known among all nations, nevertheless our life and our conduct, with our doctrines of religion, have not been lately invented by us, but from the first creation of man, so to speak, have been established by the natural understanding of divinely favored men of old... What then should prevent the confession that we who are of Christ practice one and the same mode of life and have one and the same religion as those divinely favored men of old? Whence it is evident that the perfect religion committed to us by the teaching of Christ is not new and strange, but, if the truth must be spoken, it is the first and the true religion".  Modern Christians who erroneously believe that Christianity started with Jesus, will be unable to relate to the words that "our doctrines of religion... have been established by the natural understanding... and [is] the same religion as those divinely favored men of old". The early Gentile Christians knew this fact, and it was for this reason that a copy of Plato’s Republic and other such writings was contained among the writings preserved in the recently discovered Nag Hammadi Library of early Christian writings.   St. Augustine wrote: "That, in our times, is the Christian religion, which to know and follow is the most sure and certain health, called according to that name, but not according to the thing itself, of which it is the name; for the thing itself which is now called the Christian religion, really was known to the ancients, nor was wanting at any time from the beginning of the human race, until the time when Christ came in the flesh, from whence the true religion, which had previously existed, began to be called Christian; and this in our days is the Christian religion, not as having been wanting in former times, but as having in later times received this name" (Opera Augustini, vol. i, p.12).

When we begin to understand the common root of all religion, only then are we able to comprehend with clarity that it wasn’t so much that the Greek and Roman world was converted to the teachings of Jesus -- but more appropriately, the teachings of Jesus came to be a part of the existing religious world, which came to be outwardly known as Christian. After Constantine silenced the true followers of Jesus with the power of the sword in the fourth century because they refused to accept the religion of the emperor, all that was left was the Gentile Orthodox Church which was very Pagan in nature, that had come to be known as Christian.  In a letter from Faustus to St. Augustine this Pagan-Christian connection is embellished upon: "You have substituted your agape for the sacrifices of the Pagans; for their idols your martyrs, whom you serve with the very same honors. You appease the shades of the dead with wine and feasts; you celebrate the solemn festivities of the Gentiles, their calends, and their solstices; and, as to their manners, those you have retained without any alteration. Nothing distinguishes you from the Pagans, except that you hold your assemblies apart from them" (Quoted in Draper: Science and Religion, p.48)

How could "nothing" distinguish Christians from the Pagans, with the exception of where they hold their assemblies? How could Christians "retain" the manners of the Pagans, "without any alteration"? If their lifestyle, celebrations, festivities and manner of worship are the same, then how could they be called the followers of Jesus?  In many instances, conversion was the result of Jesus being installed as the replacement for the former Pagan gods.  In his book, Jesus, The Evidence, Ian Wilson writes: "A third-century mosaic from the Mausoleum of the Julii underneath present-day St. Peter’s in Rome actually portrays Jesus as Sol Invictus, driving the horses of the sun’s chariot. That Constantine himself mixed Christianity and the Sol Invictus cult is clear from a second commemorative medallion issued by him within two years of the first, on which he represented himself with a Chi-Rho monogram on his helmet, and with a leaping Los chariot below".

Knowing these things, Ammonius Saccus, a Greek philosopher and founder of a Neo-platonic school taught that: "Christianity and Paganism, when rightly understood, differ in no essential points, but had a common origin, and are really one and the same thing" (see Taylor’s Diegesis, p.329). The problem is that modern believers do not "rightly understand" either Christianity, or the religious writings of the philosophers. Why? Because the sacred writings of each are derived from a different culture, the uniform underlying message is not perceived by the uninitiated believers.  Celsus, the Epicurean philosopher, wrote that: "The Christian religion contains nothing but what Christians hold in common with heathens; nothing new, or truly great" (see Origen, Contra Celsus). Though such opinions on the surface appear to be radical by today’s standards, they are basically correct from the perspective of the Pagan Mithraic-Christianity that evolved out of the Greek and Roman cultures. Yet this was not true of the religion Jesus himself taught when he walked the earth.

The Original Sin Of The Church: Original Sin, which is the primary foundational doctrine of the Church, is not drawn from the Original Gospel teachings of TheWay -- but rather, the doctrine of Original Sin had to be imported from the Mithraic based teachings of the Iranian prophet Mani.  What can therefore be portrayed as The Foundational Paradigm of Failure, is erected upon the doctrine of Original Sin and all the similar doctrines which have their existence within the domain of a savior who must be sacrificed for the salvation of a fallen mankind.   While modern believers cling to the dogma of the doctrine of Original Sin which was hatched by St. Augustine and promoted by Martin Luther into virtually all sects of Protestantism, is the cause of the faith-based believers own spiritual immaturity that causes them to cling to such preposterous and carnal ideas about God.   What was the source of the doctrine of Original Sin?  Quoting from T.W. Doane, Bible Myths and their Parallels in other Religions, 7th ed., 1910, p.194-5: "The Persians believed that they were tainted with original sin, owing to the fall of their first parents who were tempted by the evil one in the form of a serpent" [194:12].   Quoting from the Wikipedia: "The Romans attributed their Mithraic mysteries (the mystery religion known as Mithraism) to Persian or Zoroastrian sources relating to Mithra."  With respect to Manichaeanism, the same article states:  "It was among the Parthian Manicheans that Mithra as a Sun God surpassed the importance of Narisaf as the common Iranian image of the Third Messenger; among the Parthians the dominance of Mithra was such that his identification with the Third Messenger led to cultic emphasis on the Mithraic traits in the Manichaean God."   Quoting from The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors, by Kersey Graves who writes with respect to those who believed in Mithra: "They observed all the Christian sacraments, even to the laying on of hands in the confirmation." (211.) And the Christian Tertullian also tells us that "The priests of Mithra promised absolution from sin on confession and baptism," while another author adds, that "on such occasions Mithra marked his followers (the servants of God) in their foreheads," and that "he celebrated the sacrifice of bread, which is the resurrection."

St. Augustine, one of the most important figures in the history of the Roman Church, was a Manichaean before converting to Christianity.   Why did he convert?   It is important to note that Augustine's conversion came after the threat of death -- i.e., quoting the Wikipedia: "Augustine of Hippo (354–430) converted to Christianity from Manichaeism, in the year 387. This was shortly after the Roman Emperor Theodosius I had issued a decree of death for all Manichaean monks in 382 and shortly before he declared Christianity to be the only legitimate religion for the Roman Empire in 391."   So, in the same way that the Emperor Constantine hunted down the Ebionite Nazirenes and Spiritual Christians as heretics in the year 325, Theodosius hunted down the Manichaeans in the year 382.   And it was shortly after the decree of death by the emperor, that Augustine converted to Christianity.   Further, it is therefore important to point out that Manichaean teachings were based upon a form of Gentile-Gnosticism - and this form of Gnostic teachings which rejects the Original Gospel Teachings, has totally undermined the modern Church.   With respect to the Manichaeism of St. Augustine the Wikipedia states: "Manichaeism taught an elaborate dualistic cosmology describing the struggle between a good, spiritual world of light, and an evil, material world of darkness. Through an ongoing process which takes place in human history, light is gradually removed from the world of matter and returned to the world of light, whence it came. Its beliefs were based on local Mesopotamian gnostic and religious movements".   Thus, when rightly understood, these Mesopotamian teachings which have been classified as Gnostic have totally undermined the original spiritual foundation of the Gospel teachings.   And with respect to the label Gnostic: It should be noted that the Roman Church labeled virtually every theological position contrary to their own as Gnostic heresy.  To the degree that the word itself and what it represents has been totally misrepresented by man's countless opinions that have no basis in actual fact.

The Original Gospel teachings were based upon the spiritual evolution of the Soul that attains Wholeness and Completion over the course of many lives (see The Removal Of The Crucial Teachings On the Pre-Existent Soul http://BrotherOfJesus.org#Removal ).   With the removal of the core teachings on the evolution of the Soul, the doctrine of Original Sin was imported into the core doctrines of the Church, in order to explain and fill the great void that the Church suppression of important teachings on the pre-existent soul created.   Thereby creating a pagan foundation to the Church that rendered Christianity spiritually impotent.   Yet, Jesus himself in the Gospels stated just the opposite in the words: "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17).   Contrary to the Church dogma, if Jesus is the physician, then those who achieve and sustain a condition of Wholeness, do not need the physician -- and as a physician, Jesus did not come for the salvation of those who are Whole, but only those who are sick and need the physician.   And in opposition to Church dogma, what this also means is that at the time of Jesus, there existed people who he portrays as "whole [and] righteous" who did not need Jesus the physician (see The Original Teachings Have Nothing In Common With Church Dogma http://TheCall.Nazirene.org#OriginalTeachings ).

When Prof. John Allegro was quoted as saying that what has been revealed in the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a great amount of overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church.   This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers.   The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine” (August 1966 issue of Harpers Magazine), few modern Christians have even begun to understand why Prof. Allegro made this statement, which confirmed the position of A. Powell Davies that: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls).  What was it about the Original Foundational Gospel teachings that had virtually nothing in common with what modern Christians believe today?   And perhaps the more important question: Does it matter?

While most Christians remain ignorant of why biblical scholars published these long ignored warnings, the majority of believers felt that so long as the Church had the Bible as their guide, that the facts they remained ignorant of really didn't matter.   Yet, in light of a series of even more profound statement by scholars such as Prof. Bart D. Ehrman that the Bibles that the Church is using has been edited with core spiritual teachings removed -- wherein in his book, The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture, he warns us that: "...theological disputes, specifically disputes over Christology, prompted Christian scribes to alter the words of scripture in order to make them more serviceable for the polemical task. Scribes modified their manuscripts to make them more patently ‘orthodox’ and less susceptible to ‘abuse’ by the opponents of orthodoxy" -- which orthodoxy was to bring the text of the Bible into conformity with the doctrines and tenets of the Church of the Roman Emperor Constantine.   As documented in the article http://BibleCorruption.com , the Gentile believers who portrayed themselves as Orthodox Christians, had been editing and in their manner of thinking, correcting the scriptures since the first century.   In his Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament, by Dr. F. H. Scrivener, he writes that: "In the second century we have seen too many instances of attempts to tamper with the text of Scripture, some merely injudicious, others positively dishonest". Scrivener states that "it is no less true to fact than paradoxical in sound, that the worst corruptions to which the New Testament has ever been subjected, originated within 100 years after it was composed: and that Irenaeus and the African Fathers, and the whole Western, with a portion of the Syrian Church" used inferior manuscripts.  Under the title of Bible in the Church, the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics writes: "In the first two centuries nearly all the various readings of the New Testament came into existence, the majority of them by deliberate alteration of the text, many for the sake of style, and several in the interests of dogma… Often readings were rejected as falsifications of heretics, but often the heretics were right in their counter-complaint… Every province, every order, every monastery, has a tradition of its own…"   If every province, every order, and every monastery in the first two centuries had their own version of the scriptures which supported their favorite doctrines of belief, then we must seriously ask the question as to what has been passed down to us today?

Once the original Christian teachings on the transmigration of the soul that evolves to perfection over the course of many lifetimes was removed from the Gospels and outlawed by the Church, it was necessary to fill the void that was left by the absence of this core teaching on the higher reality of the soul.   And this removed core teaching was originally an integral part of the questions posed by the disciples of Jesus when they asked: "Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'" (John 9:1-2 NKJ).   Thus, it is easily demonstrated that the original Gospel mindset was built upon a very different foundation than what has evolved into the modern Church.  What Christian today would ask the forgoing question?   "...Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?'"   It must be immediately recognized that not a single modern Christian would even consider asking such a question.  Why?  As stated in The Hastings-Scribner Dictionary Of The Bible (New York, 1903. Bk 4, p. 63) "To affirm that Jews in Christ's time did not believe in pre-existence is simply incorrect"  Because modern Christians have been totally alienated from the biblical foundational mindset by the very doctrines such as Original Sin that was adopted while the Church was ruled over by Pagan Rome.    Thus, we must pose the question:  What prompted the disciples of Jesus to even ask such a question?

Again, let me pose the question as to what this statement means to us from a modern-day perspective?   It means that the mindset and doctrinal thinking of the modern believer is so alienated from the original biblical foundational mindset and thinking, that the modern believer has been disenfranchised from the Gospel teachings and rendered spiritually sterile.    In the question posed to Jesus there simply is no element of the Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin.   The question posed to Jesus by his disciples was whether the soul of the man born blind was caused by the sin committed by the man's Soul in a previous life, or whether his blindness was the result of the sin of his parents?  The original mindset and thinking with respect to the events of life from the perception of the disciples is explored in the Wycliffe Commentary where it is written: "The question of the disciples (v. 2) was grounded in the belief that bodily infirmity or suffering was due to sin, whether of parents (Exo 20:5) or of the man himself, presumably on the basis of the soul’s pre-existence, which some Jews held".   Thus we must ask: Is this concept that a soul can sin prior to birth some Jewish fable that the disciples of Christ conjured up themselves?   Or, is this belief based upon a foundational teaching of the Gospel that Jesus taught to them?   Once properly understood, the position of the disciples is founded upon the construct of Jesus' statement to the woman caught in adultery: "Go, and from now on do not sin anymore" (John 8:11).   Thus, Jesus did not tell the woman caught in adultery to believe in him (Jesus) as her personal lord and savior for the forgiveness of her sins.   If, as Augustine set forth, the woman sinned because of the congenial sin imposed upon mankind by virtue of the sin of Adam and Eve, then Jesus never would have stated to her to go forward in her life and cease to sin -- acknowledging that she had the power and ability to cease from sinning.   And this is especially presented in the example of the person Jesus healed and made whole where he said: "...sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14 KJV).   Once again we see Jesus rejecting the Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin -- conveying to the man the need to begin to live a life wherein he would cease to sin -- i.e., "...sin no more".   But it was the second part of his statement to the man where he made reference to The Laws in the statement "...lest a worse thing come unto thee" that immerses each of us in our own personal Labyrinth of Laws that is molded by our previous actions, and has orchestrated the path and the choices of our destiny (see The Laws That Control Our Lives http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheLawsThatControlOurLives ).

Once again we do not see Jesus conveying to the man to believe in him as his personal lord and savior for the forgiveness of his sins.   We not only see Jesus instructing the man to "sin no more" -- which, in opposition to the Augustian doctrine of Original Sin, meant that the man had the ability to live free of sin -- but also warning the man that if he sins again after being healed, that "...a worse thing [will] come unto thee".   Why?  Because the Laws of God that were instituted at the dawn of Creation, monitor our every word, thought, desire and deed (see The Laws Of Creation http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#TheLawsOfCreation .  And it is these Laws of Creator-God that were put in place in the Alpha of man's beginning, that returns to each soul the fruit of their own thinking and actions.   And it is for this reason why both Peter and Paul affirm the reality that those who sin -- especially after coming to the knowledge of the Gospel message -- inherit a fate even worse than before they were exposed to the Gospel teachings.   To the degree that Paul warned the congregation of believers: , “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Gal 6:7 NIV).

What does it mean that "...God cannot be mocked -- [and that each person] reaps what he sows”?   To the degree that Jesus warned the man: "...sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."    Yet, to their own spiritual demise, the vast majority of modern Christians promote the belief that they are exempt from having their own sin and misdeeds come back upon them in the manner that is portrayed in these verses -- and that somehow they have been exempted from the fruit of their own ways, while everyone else is held in judgment.   In fact, Christians promote the doctrine that because they attempt to appease the Lord with their lips, they virtually have a license to live in sin.    And they cling to this doctrine even though the Gospel warns that their fate will be worse than the unbelievers (see Fate) -- and that because of their infidelity to the Gospel, wherein they are portrayed as crucifying the Son of God afresh, even the opportunity of salvation by virtue of the sacrifice on the cross has been denied to them (see Sacrifice).    And because of their infidelity to the Gospel, they have been rendered spiritually blind to the degree that they fail to perceive that they are dwelling in what Jesus portrayed as The Prison and the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Blindness) -- incapable of understanding the core meaning of the Gospel and the scriptures.

The original ending of the Gospel of Mark reads very differently than the present version -- i.e., "This Age of lawlessness and unbelieving lies under the sway of Satan, who will not allow what lies under the unclean spirits to understand the truth and power of God; therefore, they said to Christ, reveal your righteousness now.   Christ answered them, The term of years for Satan's power has now expired, but other terrors are at hand.  I was delivered to death on behalf of sinners, that they might return to the truth and sin no more, that they might inherit that glory of righteousness which is spiritual and imperishable in heaven" (Moffatt, quoting Gospel Of Mark in Codex W -- Also quoted by St. Jerome as being the authentic ending of the Gospel of Mark).   This original ending of the Gospel of Mark that is still contained in some of the oldest biblical manuscripts, presents the core essential Gospel teaching that believes in Jesus will "...return to the truth and sin no more"  -- that they might inherit that glory of righteousness which is spiritual and imperishable in heaven".   Which is why Paul wrote: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" (Rom 6:1-2,12,16 KJV).   And again Paul wrote:  "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor" (Gal 2:17-18 KJV).   While the Mithraic Eucharist that was embraced by the Roman Church was for the forgiveness of sins, Paul warns that if you sin and partake the cup of the Lord, that you drink judgment unto yourself:  "Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep" (1 Cor 11:27-30 NKJ).   Thus, while the modern Christian Church is founded upon the Augustinian (Manichaean/Mithraic) doctrine of Original Sin and a savior sun-god who was sacrificed to forgive the congenital sins of the people, the Original Gospel teachings were founded upon the pre-existent soul that evolves to perfection and having fulfilled the Royal Law within themselves, believers are able to live a life free of sin.

In opposition to the Augustine Manichaean doctrine, of the monk named Pelagius (354–420 or 440) the Encyclopedia Britannica (1998 electronic edition) reads: “Pelagius, though not a priest, became a highly regarded spiritual director for both clergy and laymen. The rigorous asceticism of his adherents acted as a reproach to the spiritual sloth of many Roman Christians, whose moral standards greatly distressed him. He blamed Rome's moral laxity on the doctrine of divine grace that he heard a bishop cite from the Confessions of Saint Augustine, who in his prayer for continence beseeched God to grant whatever grace the divine will determined. Pelagius attacked this teaching on the grounds that it imperiled the entire moral law and soon gained a considerable following at Rome”.  Pelagius wrote that: “Man is able, if he likes, to live without sin and keep the commandments of God, in as much as God gives him this ability.  Which is exactly what the Original Gospel teachings taught.  Notice that Pelagius stated that "...God gives [man] this ability.  The Wikipedia states: "Pelagius rejected the Augustinian concept of grace. According to his opponents, Pelagius taught that moral perfection was attainable in this life without the assistance of divine grace through human free will. Augustine contradicted this by saying that perfection was impossible without grace because we are born sinners with a sinful heart and will. The Pelagians charged Augustine with departing from the accepted teaching (e.g.: John 8:11) of the Apostles and the Bible, demonstrating that the doctrine of original sin amounted to Manichaeism, which taught that the flesh was in itself sinful (and thus denied that Jesus came in the flesh). This charge would have carried added weight since contemporaries knew that Augustine had himself been a Manichaean layman before converting to Christianity. Augustine also taught that a person's salvation comes solely through a free gift, the efficacious grace of God, but that this was a gift that one had no free choice to accept or refuse."

When Jesus warned the man "...sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" -- he confirmed the doctrine that all the calamities of life that each individual person encounters and experiences, is caused by each soul's sin and disobedience to the Royal Law of God.   On the question itself that the disciples of Jesus asked -- i.e., Master, who did sin? -- the commentary Barnes’ Notes writes that: "It was a universal opinion among the Jews that calamities of all kinds were the effects of sin. The case, however, of this man was that of one that was blind from his birth, and it was a question which the disciples could not determine whether it was his fault or that of his parents. Many of the Jews, as it appears from their writings (see Lightfoot), believed in the doctrine of the transmigration of souls; or that the soul of a man, in consequence of sin, might be compelled to pass into other bodies, and be punished there. They also believed that an infant might sin before it was born (see Lightfoot), and that consequently this blindness might have come upon the child as a consequence of that".

On the question of who did sin, this man, or his parents, and the pre-existence and reincarnation of the soul, the Adam Clarke Commentary tells us: "The doctrine of the transmigration of souls appears to have been an article in the creed of the Pharisees, and it was pretty general both among the Greeks and the Asiatics. The Pythagoreans believed the souls of men were sent into other bodies for the punishment of some sin which they had committed in a pre-existent state. This seems to have been the foundation of the disciples’ question to our Lord. Did this man sin in a pre-existent state, that he is punished in this body with blindness? Or, did his parents commit some sin, for which they are thus plagued in their offspring!... The Jewish rabbis have had the same belief from the very remotest antiquity. Origen cites an apocryphal book of the Hebrews, in which the patriarch Jacob is made to speak thus: I am an angel of God; one of the first order of spirits. Men call me Jacob, but my true name, which God has given me, is Israel: Orat. Joseph. apud ORIG. Many of the Jewish doctors have believed that the souls of Adam, Abraham, and Phineas, have successively animated the great men of their nation. Philo says that the air is full of spirits, and that some, through their natural propensity, join themselves to bodies; and that others have an aversion from such a union. See several other things relative to this point in his treatises, De Plant. Noe-- De Gigantibus-- De Confus. Ling.-- De Somniis, etc.; and see Calmet, where he is pretty largely quoted".

It is important in our assessment of genuine biblical foundations of thought to recognize the fact that the pre-existence -- and what some call the reincarnation of the soul -- was a universally accepted belief among the people who Jesus taught the Gospel Precepts -- and in the case of the Disciples, the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God.  Once this fact is acknowledged, then we are forced to conclude that if this belief about the nature of life was in error, and the journey of the pre-existent soul is not a viable part of the teachings of Jesus, then Jesus would have had to condemn it -- or, we must recognize that it was removed by the later Gentile Church.

With respect to the question: Did the Jews in the first century believe in the pre-existent soul?  The Hastings-Scribner Dictionary Of The Bible (New York, 1903. Bk 4, p. 63) "To affirm that Jews in Christ's time did not believe in pre-existence is simply incorrect".   At Genesis 2:7, the Wycliffe Commentary writes: “Man's body was fashioned from the dust of the ground, while his spirit came from the very ‘breath’ of God. He is literally a creature of two worlds; both earth and heaven can claim him”.  More importantly, though, is for us to clarify our understanding of when the soul came into existence.   Thus, the Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary notes the belief of both the Jews and early Church: “The... views of Origen and other Fathers, and the... Talmudists, that all souls had been created ‘in the beginning,’ and were lodged by God in a certain place, whence each one was taken out to inhabit the respective bodies of individuals”.   In this respect, it can easily be demonstrated the first followers of Jesus firmly believed that the soul pre-existed the body, and that our present physical forms are mere vessels that we inhabit during our sojourn in this life.

That the Pharisees understood that a man is born blind from the misdeeds of a previous life is seen in their words to the man: "You were born entirely in sins, and are you teaching us?" (Jn 9:34 NAS).  Moreover, it is well documented that the Essenes -- who with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls are now understood to be the foundation of New Covenant teachings -- also believed in the pre-existence and transmigration of the soul.   In his Antiquity of the Jews, the Jewish historian Josephus, who had lived among the Essenes, and was a contemporary of the man Jesus, stated that the Essenes: “…resigned up their souls with great alacrity, as expecting to receive them again.

Josephus openly wrote the foregoing words pertaining to the pre-existent soul that incarnates into the body, because it was a predominant belief held by the Jews in the first century.   This fact is also seen in the writings of Philo in his On Dreams Being Sent from God, section 22, where he speaks of the various kinds of souls and of the celestial bodies as being animated entities, quite in common with the general teaching of antiquity, and remarks: "Now all these souls seem to descend upon the earth with a view to being bound up in mortal bodies, those namely which are most nearly connected with the earth, and which are lovers of bodily habitations. Others, however, soar upwards, and are distinguished from others of their class according to the times and characteristics which Nature has appointed unto them. All these souls, those which are influenced by desires for mortal existence and which have been previously familiarized with it, return to mortal life. But others, refusing bodily life as a great folly, and as a mere trifling, pronounce it a prison or a grave, and fleeing from it by the impulses of their nature as from a house of correction or a tomb, raise themselves on the light wings of their nature towards the aether where they devote all their life to speculations of a divine type...".  And in the version of John 9:1 that is contained in the Gospel of the Nazirenes 53:1 (see Born Blind) we can see what the Gospel of John used to contain before being edited by the Church (see BibleCorruption.com) where it is written: "And at another time as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?  Jesus answered, To what importance is it whether this man or his parents sinned? The rewards of our actions return again to us so that the works of the Lord are made manifest. I must work the works of the Lord while in this season. As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world."

Why is there no doctrine of Original Sin in Judaism?   The foundational doctrine which St. Augustine brought into the Church from his Manichaean background?  Modern Christians fail to realize that their religion evolved out of Judaism, and Spiritual Jews have always founded their system of beliefs upon the concept of the pre-existent soul that evolves to perfection over the course of many lifetimes.   The following quotation is taken from The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, under the heading of Souls, Transmigration of: “The doctrine of transmigration of souls, which was especially accepted by the Karaites… is generally attacked by Jewish philosophers, but is defended by Isaac Abravanel and Manasseh ben Israel.  It appears often in Cabala; it is found in organized form in the Zohar, it is further developed in the teachings of Isaac Luria (1534-1572), and in Hasidism it becomes a universal belief.   According to these teachings, all human souls have a common origin in the spiritual unity of the primordial man, sparks of which form the individual souls... The sin of Adam brought higher and lower souls into confusion; as a result, every soul has to pass through a series of incarnations... The soul itself has no sex, which is determined by the body and may vary from incarnation to incarnation”.

In the Zohar, the foundational doctrine of Jewish Mysticism, it is written that: “All souls are subject to the trials of transmigration; and men do not know the designs of the Most High with regard to them… The souls must re-enter the absolute substance whence they have emerged.  But to accomplish this end they must develop all the perfections, the germ of which is planted in them; and if they have not fulfilled this condition during one life, they must commence another, a third, and so forth, until they have acquired the condition which fits them for reunion with God”.   This reunion with God is the rebirth that was spoken of by Jesus to the Pharisee Nicodemus, “a ruler of the Jews”.

Parallel to the Journey of the Soul as set forth in the Zohar in the foregoing, is the teachings in the Qur'an which states "God generates beings, and sends them back over and over again, till they return to Him"    Which again parallels the teachings of Jesus in the Pistis Sophia where it is stated: “But if he shall have sinned once, twice, or thrice, they shall reject that soul, sending it back again into the world according to the form of the sins that it may have committed; the form whereof I will declare unto you hereafter.   But verily, verily I say unto you, that even the righteous man that hath committed no sin at all cannot be brought into the Kingdom of Light, forasmuch the seal of the mysteries of that kingdom is not found upon him.  Once for all, I say unto you, a soul cannot be brought into the kingdom, if it be without the mysteries of the Kingdom of the Light.”   When it is understood that the "...seal of the mysteries" which is further stated in the pronouncement that "...Once for all, I say unto you, a soul cannot be brought into the kingdom, if it be without the mysteries of the Kingdom of the Light”  is parallel to the Zohar where it states that "...But to accomplish this end they must develop all the perfections, the germ of which is planted in them; and if they have not fulfilled this condition during one life, they must commence another, a third, and so forth, until they have acquired the condition which fits them for reunion with God”.

Virtually all of the sayings of the Gospel of Thomas was removed from the traditional scriptures and teachings (see The Gospel Enigma That Modern Christians Can't Comprehend ).   Saying 84 (see The Foundation Of The Soul And The Threefold Self ) restores the teachings on the pre-existent Soul and our own relationship to the previous lives our Soul has lived.   Saying demonstrates that the traditional belief in reincarnation as embraced by the Easter religions is in error -- and while the Pre-existent Soul does evolve over the course of many lifetimes, each of these lifetimes are themselves unique incarnations.   And this is why the pre-Nicene Church Fathers rejected the traditional belief in reincarnation, they embraced the teachings of the pre-existent Soul that evolves to perfection over the course of many (unique) lifetimes.   Therefore, as a soul-generated personality, most people don't remember past lives, because they never lived them -- yet, their own Soul generates as many soul-personalities as is needed to become Whole, Complete, and fulfill the requirement of perfection -- i.e., "You, therefore, must be Perfect, as you Heavenly Father is Perfect" (Matt 5:48).   And as demonstrated in the previous link, the great difficulty in explaining the reality of the Soul to organic man who Paul portrays as being of a "natural" mind (see Animal-Soul), is because the typical teachings on reincarnation are in error -- and the pre-existent Soul evolves over the course of many Incarnations -- with each soul-generated personality only living one life.  And because of the spiritual-amnesia of having been cast into the "outer darkness" of mind and being in which mankind as the prodigal sons/daughters have been cast, Paul is correct when he asserts that man in his "natural" untransformed mindset will reject his own higher Soul-Reality as utter "foolishness" -- i.e., “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ).

While Christians attempt to interpret the parable of the Prodigal Son in fragmented piecemeal, when taken as a whole, and understood as a universal reality common to all of mankind in the manner it was intended to be understood, it is recognized to be in total conflict with modern Christian doctrine.    Once it is understood that each of us is the Prodigal Son/Daughter of our Heavenly Father, then it must also be recognized that each of us at one time dwelled in the Kingdom prior to journeying out into this, the "far country".    We don't remember our more distant past prior to this present life, because this realm is the "outer darkness" that causes us to be stricken with Spiritual-Amnesia http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia .   Thus, we see this parallel concept in the above quotation from the Zohar where it states that each of us, like the Prodigal Son that we are, must return to our Source -- i.e.,  "The souls must re-enter the absolute substance whence they have emerged...."

In the parable of the Wedding Feast, those who come to TheCall must have put on the required Wedding Garment -- and thus, we see the parallel concept in the Zohar in the words with respect to the required perfection of each soul: "But to accomplish this end they must develop all the perfections, the germ of which is planted in them...".   To the degree that Jesus stated in the Sermon on the Mount at Matthew 5:48 that each soul must be as perfect as their Heavenly Father -- i.e., again parallel to the Zohar: "...and if they have not fulfilled this condition during one life, they must commence another, a third, and so forth, until they have acquired the condition which fits them for reunion with God”.   In the parable of the talents, when the distribution of Talents is understood within the Foundation of the Original Gospel Teachings prior to being corrupted -- and the difference is understood between those portrayed as "invited guests" and the majority who were not "invited guests" as pertaining to The Talents And A Person's Spiritual DNA http://TheCall.Nazirene.org#SpiritualDNA , a totally different picture of each of our more distant past begins to emerge -- prompting the Church Father Origen to explain: “Every soul... comes into this world strengthened by the victories or weakened by the defeats of its previous life” (Origen, De Principiis).

God did not hate Esau and love Jacob for no reason!  Paul gives the example of Jacob and Esau, and writes: “For though the twins were not yet born, and had not done anything good or bad, in order that God's purpose according to His choice might stand, not because of works, but because of Him who calls, it was said to her, The older will serve the younger. Just as it is written, Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated” (Rom 9:11-13 NAS).   What the Apostle is very clearly stating is that, before either of the twins had been born, before either had “done anything good or bad”, God not only decided their fate in life, but for no apparent reason, He hated Esau and loved Jacob.   Why?   Paul offers no explanation other than God does what he wants to do -- and man does not have the right to question God's choices in these matters.   This is especially seen in the words: “Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?” (Rom 9:21 NKJ).   Origen then demonstrates that our lot in life is the result of our own deserts, and writes: “For God the Creator makes a certain vessel unto honor, and other vessels to dishonor; but that vessel which has cleansed itself from all impurity [an untarnished wedding garment] He makes a vessel unto honor, while that which has stained itself with the filth of vice He makes a vessel unto dishonor. The conclusion from which, accordingly, is this, that the cause of each one's actions is a pre-existing one; and then every one, according to his deserts, is made by God either a vessel unto honor or dishonor. Therefore every individual vessel has furnished to its Creator out of itself the causes and occasions of its being formed by Him to be either a vessel unto honor or one unto dishonor. And if the assertion appear correct, as it certainly is, and in harmony with all piety, that it is due to previous causes that every vessel be prepared by God either to honor or to dishonor, it does not appear absurd that, in discussing remoter causes in the same order, and in the same method, we should come to the same conclusion respecting the nature of souls, and (believe) that this was the reason why Jacob was beloved before he was born into this world, and Esau hated, while he still was contained in the womb of his mother”.  This same reality where each of us comes into the body in accord with the accomplishments of our Soul's past, is expressed in the Wisdom of Solomon 8:19-20, where it reads: “Now I was a child good by nature, and… being good, I came into a body undefiled”.

To even begin to comprehend this higher reality of the perfection of the soul over the course of many lifetimes, the person must understand the cycle of the Prodigal Son/Daughter as presented in the words: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.  For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it" (Isa 55:8-11 NKJ).   God cannot fail -- and nothing in Creation can be void -- and as the Prodigal Sons of the Most High, each of us emanated from the Edenic Kingdom of Origination -- and each us us must fulfill the requirement of perfection as presented at Matt 5:48 -- and if this required perfection is "...not fulfilled this condition during one life, [we] must commence another, a third, and so forth, until [our souls] have acquired the condition which fits them for reunion with God”
With respect to not only the example of Jacob and Esau in the womb -- but also all infants -- the question must be posed: What is a child?  From the perspective of the framework of modern Christian thought, we would say that a child it is a newly soul that was created at conception by God.  But is it?  The Bible itself states to us in Eccl 1:9-11 that “there is no new thing under the sun” -- and then asks the question: “Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See this is new”.  Let us refute the wisdom of the Bible, and use the example of a new-born baby as something that is new.  Surely this baby is new -- i.e., from a Christian perspective it has never had an existence prior to being born.  Yet, the scripture confutes us, and teaches that “It hath been already of old time, which was before us”.  So that we might be sure that the scriptures are speaking about a new born baby, it then goes on to clarify the statement by adding: “There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after”.   Based upon these words is can be said that, from a biblical perspective, even though a baby (or person) will not remember its past: “It hath been already of old time”. According to the first Christians, this is true -- unless the Lord opens the mind of a person which would then permit them to remember the previous lives that their soul has lived.  That the majority of people do not remember the previous lives that their pre-existent soul has lived prior to their coming into being in their present life, is basically caused by the fact that by embracing the culture of this world, they have made themselves alien to their true self.

Once the teachings on the pre-existent soul was removed from the Gospels and suppressed by the Church of Constantine, it became necessary to fill the void with the Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin as a means of explaining many of the inconsistencies left in the scriptures.  And in total conflict with Original Sin, Paul not only stated that mankind was forced into what is personified in the allegorical Fall of Man -- but the journey in the Far Country portrayed in the parable was absolutely necessary for each of our development.  As the Prodigal Sons/Daughters of the Most High, each of us was forced to leave the Kingdom and venture out into this world which is portrayed in the parable as the "far country" -- not by our own choosing, but by the Will of God who through the Natural Laws forced each of us into the "outer darkness" of the Far Country.   But what is the Far Country?  A realm where each of us is able to grow and evolve to perfection -- i.e., “For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time” (Rom 8:20-22 NIV).   What the Apostle states in the above quotation is that it was (the Laws of) Creator-God that subjected mankind to the frustration of what we perceive as the Fall of Man, in order that “the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage” through the process of the soul-evolution in this world which is God's Spiritual University that perfects and brings about our eventual spiritual rebirth into the Kingdom -- i.e., “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time”.  Yet, it remains virtually impossible to convey to organic "natural" man that this realm of the "outer darkness" can be better portrayed as the "mental-womb" of Mother-Earth (see Mental Womb http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#MentalWomb ).   And in the same way that a fetus is evolved within the womb of its mother to prepare for physical birth, mankind who is born into this world as a Cosmic Ovum or Sperm , must become a viable embryo that is prepared to evolve within the Womb of Mother-Earth, and bring about the next stage of birth that Jesus said was absolutely necessary to enter the Kingdom of God.

What does Paul's words mean?  Take especial notice of the words:  "...For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it  ...For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now".   In the same way that Jesus stated that unless you bring about the next stage of birth, you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven -- all of the trials of the prodigal son in this, the Far Country, is the process of birth that was brought upon mankind by the Laws -- Laws which evolve each and every soul from the Alpha of ignorance, to the Omega of Enlightened Light and Knowing (see The Laws That Control Our Lives).   The great truth that is not at all understood in the above words -- a truth that has been continually expressed by both Jewish and Christian visionaries is that the knowledge of the mysteries of God and the Divine Plan -- begins with the knowledge of ourselves as the Prodigal Sons of our Heavenly Father.    And it is for this reason that the second-century Church Father Clement of Alexandria said that it is “…the greatest of all lessons to know one's self. For if one knows himself, he will know God; and knowing God, he will be made like God… and that man becomes God, since God so wills”.    And that this statement is confirmed in the Gospel of Thomas in the words: "But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty... Whoever finds himself is superior to the world."   In his treaties on The Soul and the Resurrection, St Gregory writes that “the Resurrection is no other thing than 'the re-constitution of our nature in its original form’”, and states that there will come a time “…when the complete whole of our race shall have been perfected from the first man to the last”.   This statement should provoke great thought in the reader who is under the misconception that our Heavenly Father would destroy or forever cut off one of his sons or daughters who are lost in this world.   Moreover, the reality that mankind did not Fall from Grace because of the insane folly of what the Church of Rome portrayed as Original Sin -- but rather  "...the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it" -- and that what mankind is presently enduring is the "...groans and labors [of] birth pangs".   Which means that what is presented and concealed within the allegory of the letter of the written word, is simply beyond even man's imagination.    Which is why Paul warns that the higher reality of the soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom is incomprehensible to the "natural" mind of man who, because of his own mental and spiritual immaturity, will reject the Truth as utter "foolishness" (see Mystery Of The Gospel).    Moreover, this means that if what the biblical authors and early Church authorities are saying is true, how could those who wrote the scriptures possibly put what is incomprehensible into a plain written narrative that those who totally lack the capacity to understand, would read and comprehend?   Further, so long as mankind remains what is portrayed as being  "glued" to the Citizen of this world -- and the Citizen or god of this world maintains absolute control over the thinking and life of organic man -- then it remains impossible for man to comprehend anything of a higher reality than the most mundane things of this world.
